There’s a bunch of nice places to eat out near the new venue with the Melt standing out as great restaurant unique to Cleveland. Plus the hotel provides a free shuttle in the area up to five miles. So whatever you have a taste for (wings, pizza, salads, steaks) can be easily accessed.
Frutsy vs Chris G is going to be insanely hype. How will insane Morigan keepaway fare against the Mexican Organism Designed Only for Killing? That will be an INTERESTING match.

I’ve been a bit reserved on Skullgirls since I’m kinda waiting for the patch to come out to really get a feel for the game again. I’m probably gonna drop Painwheel any ways so I’m kinda waiting it out. I’d like to see a side tourney at least there though so I’ll probably post up in the Skullgirls thread to see which Based Broads maniacs are coming.
You’re right guys, I will update you on Autumn Games and SG hopefully this or next early next week. We want to leave no community unturned. In fact I had a fantastic phone meeting w/ the creative director for one of the new fighters and am very excited to rep these newer titles!

ALSO we are adding Dead or Alive 5 to the official roster of games. We’ve been following DOA and really like what the devs are doing to make it a competitive fighter. It will litereally be BRAND NEW (3 days old) so almost everyone will be on equal footing. If you want to come to SB but don’t feel you’re skilled enough to compete in the other main games, this and Persona are prob great choices for you to play in tournament.

Well MvC2 was an invitational last year, this year we’re just doing a straight-up hype tournament. I think MvC2 is waiting in the wings to break back out bigtime in the next 1-2 years. As always Fugee and I are working behind the scenes with players to make things happen for the game that built today’s FGC and SB, and catapulted Justin and Yipes especially to international fame.
ANOTHER big player confirm: one of the Japanese FinalRoundBats crew is making the trip to SBa barring some kind of catastrophe. Will confirm when the travel arrangements are on paper.

Here on SRK, the rules for SCV say that you must win 2 matches to advance in the bracket, but on the 8wayrun page ( http://8wayrun.com/threads/sep-28-2012-seasons-beatings-ascension-sept-28-30-2012-cleveland-oh-scv-cleveland-oh.14309/ ) it says you must win 3 matches to advance. So which is it?
