Wow, our dude Adam (HarmonicTunes) made this video for SB:Velocity, and it got reposted on the front page article about Momo2 closing. I really haven’t been thinking about Momos much cos we’ve been so focused on this year (today was the final game night there) but this reminds me of what a special place it was when SB was there. Also, we are getting interest from the girls who love and run GG, as well as 3s diehard fans – if people want to play 3s in 1v1, 2v2 or 3v3, talk to your friends and let us know, we’d love to have a really great 3s tourney again. Last year’s ended up being fantastic as a 3v3.

Our special events are pre-arranged – it takes countless hours of behind-the-scenes work to make them happen. We’re super happy though that you guys are coming to show off South America’s Marvel scene! We can talk about doing a side event, Brazil vs. another 4 or 5-man team, and I’m sure we can record and/or side stream it. That would be really fantastic.

DOA5? Yes it’s possible, most likely as a side game unless Tecmo wants to get involved with us unless a whooole bunch of people let us know they really want to play it as an official game. Our schedule is already pretty finalized down to the minute! I think it would make for a pretty big side tournament though and I’m sure we can get people to handle running it.
The EARLIEST MvC3 pools will start at 6 p.m. The later pools at 9 p.m.
Juan – you’ll be happy to know we’re working on a MvC2 mini-event for the side stream

Woww just got word that a Mexian player is coming to SB for Marvel 3! And his friend is hardcore and making the trip to support him as well!
Sweet story: the Mexican team’s translator/player started playing fighting games when he saw the Season’s Beatings II video of the Justin/Yipes/Sanford FT7 3-way set up by Fugee and shot by Preppy 
Yeah everything I liked about Season’s Beatings outside of the tourney is pretty much gone.
Looks like I’m gonna have to hope a 3S or Skullgirls side tourney ends up happening. 3S 3v3 would be pretty hot.
There will be new things to explore and try. Be sure to check out Melt, which is about a 5 min walk from the venue. We highly recommend it!
