Anyone here getting Deep Crimson and/or Estival vs?
AYANE gameplay!! this further confirms Estival’s versus mode is a fighting game in itself!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZghWrDLdf9Y
I made a video with 40 minutes of Ayane’s gameplay:
Tuesday and Deep Crimson is out!
SK 2 out today, picking up my copy once I’m off work.
Any idea when Estival Versus will be out on the west?
XSEED has it scheduled this Winter for 2015 so it would probably be safe to assume around December.
Or January, or February, winter could be one of those months.
Ikkitousen releases!! here’s some gameplay vids, gonna be really intense in the versus mode . they could form a team with Ayame and Ayane for versus brawls.
Hakufu
Unchou Kan-u
Ryofu
Great trailer though they should show some versus mode exhibitions and trailers because the campaign missions a.i. enemies really don’t do the fighting system justice compared to the group PVP.
Kagura gameplay and some combos. this is the greatest roster the series has, not counting New Wave. ah a sequel on PS4 can double it.
Loving all of these characters, now all that’s left is Naruku.
The North America version of Estival Versus will have an Endless Summer Edition that comes with an artbook, random set of trading cards, and a 2-disk soundtrack.
Of course, the NA limited edition…lackluster as usual.
the NA edition is awesome and still gives more than your usual $60 case. EU is a totally different market, and Marvelous EU has a lot more money than XSEED.
if this series sold as much as COD you can be sure they would be able to afford a better physical edition but gamers shouldn’t be spoiled, it’s really about the game itself anyways, the extras are bonuses.
Also XSEED had a hard time getting even Shinovi Versus on store shelves, you know investors have a large influence how much they can afford to take bigger risks, and Senran Kagura is untested in the PS4 market. if it sells as much as the best selling Street Fighter, Resident Evil games or more, then they could invest in more pricey editions if Estival sells enough. Money talks, you don’t see the most mainstream games with the most red carpet physical extras content if their series was only selling as much as niche titles. Profit influences more than entitlement attitudes when it comes to publisher decisions.
It’s expected to release in the west March 15th
Just be advised, the NA release of the game will “NOT” get the Ikkitousen characters. Seems to be a problem with licensing them for release in our country so the only way to play with them will be to play the JP version.
I’ll probably still buy the NA version for the story alone but outside of that, I’ll continue playing the JP version so that I can have EVERYONE in the game.
Goddamn it
Don’t worry, we are still getting Ayame, Rin, Daidouji, Ayane, Naruku and Kagura. It would be immature ranting about the lack of Ikkitousen dlc localization, XSEED would have included them if they could, but this situation proves that a DLC licensing nightmare like Ikkitousen’s just isn’t worth it for a small company that is already taking a big risk localizing such a controversial and niche series
whose reception and demand on PS4 in the west has yet to be tested and proven to be worth investing more money for. The standard game already has 25 playable characters, and the 6 other DLC characters increases that over 30 playables, which is still the largest roster in the series, whether you count DLC or not.
AND it is said we are still getting the patch updates, and some of those add new modes (like tower defense and deathmatch/stock battle) and at least 1 new location to fight in.
the LE’s looking gorgeous.
