Welp I finally have reason to get ps4 and get into the seran series.
God damn it I clicked on it before I saw it was an affinity thread.
So much to learn!! The most innovative fighting game since SSB, NUNS and Power Stone!!
If Power Stone kept getting sequels, it would have evolved into this!!!
Senran Kagura Estival Versus even surpasses SSB4’s 8 player versus (though Guardian Heroes HD is still the champ of contestant slots cap, which is 12,
though Estival Versus is way more balanced.)
Despite this having a story campaign, I would say the multiplayer is really the core of the game since that’s where the combat systems really stand out.
It is also the only next gen fighting game with 60 fps

It’s kind of like a next gen Arcana Heart in 3D battlefield. It’s practically two games in one (an action adventure game and a fighting game,
kinda a reversed version of Tobal 2, which was fighting mode first and then Quest mode. Then again, NUNS also had the format of being
campaign first, versus 2nd, even though it still is a fighting game at heart and Versus is the highlight of the series. )
DOA Ayane and Ikkitousen characters will be playable
And this is just the first Senran Kagura game on PS4, this fighting series will continue to grow and improve.
If Estival Versus is PS4’s “QOF94”, then “QOF95” will be extra interesting!! Plus there’s also the New Wave roster to add, and beyond.

I’m rather enjoying Estival Versus right now but whenever I look online, there is hardly anyone on. Maybe it’s just my bad timing going online and such.
You’ll more than likely find me going off with Yozakura or Shiki until Rin get’s released (or until I get a hold of Ayane, Hakufu, Kan’U, Ryofu)
Hey that is messed up. You don’t see all Street Fighter games (and other fighting games) mushed into a single topic discussion.
Even Arcana Heart 3 got its own independent discussion from the other AHs (as well as NS Ultimate Ninja Storm 4.) Estival Versus is in a league of its own, even Shinovi Versus can’t compare. 
player newb skills aside, just look at this revolutionary fighting gameplay,
this really takes team fighting to greater levels of depth and awesomeness. (also it makes sense there’s hardly anyone online since Japan aren’t serious online gamers, hardly anyone there owns a PS4 (so lower sales total), and most serious online gamers are in EU and NA.)
Should really schedule some online matches. I wouldn’t mind streaming them if needed.
It’s not messed up. There isn’t enough interest here for Senran Kagura for Estival to warrant it’s own thread when there’s an existing thread covering the series. FYI, All three Street Fighter EX games have a single thread. All the Smash games also had a single discussion thread a while ago.
Is it safe to assume that with update 1.03, using the PS4 streaming function does NOT work with Senran Kagura: Estival Versus now or is this just a bug?
Thought this warrant a new post rather than update since it wont get bumped. I apologize for double posting. With that said, this is a update on the question I posed on my last post. Turns out the streaming function was disabled for Estival Versus due to the fact that Twitch has banned this game from being streamed on their service for its “sexual nature”. I’ll say this right now that I call this bullshit and what does this say about GTAV, Mass Effect 3, Dragon Age: Inquisition, The Witcher, etc. I’m currently in talks with some other people regarding this on twitter since they wont answer any other way. I’ll post a update again on how this goes.
How the hell does DoA get streamed on twitch then? It’s sexual content rivals Senran. Hell, the two games have crossed over.
i think because senran kagure is anime while dead or alive more realistic looking. I think their more concern of under agree being expose to this than moderating sexually sensitive stuff.Because kids and what not are going to be more interested in animation stuff realistic. Still doesn’t justified though.

Also lets be frank some the other game may have suggestive cotent but its not stable or constant theme of those games. While Seran Kagure is the opposite. While thier is Game to be had in Seran Kagure versus, it made service a intricate and consistent theme in its gameplay and I guess that too much for twich to handle.
Lets not forget Seran Kagure has a lot of character that fall in the “loli” design who get expose to high suggestive stuff. I’m not defending twich by any means but you can’t really call them out on subtle stuff(DoA/AH) to exaggerated stuff (Seran Kagure).
Marie Rose panders to loli design and Twitch don’t shut shit down when she appears on stream.
Evidently, Twitch and their admins want to play the silent treatment on Twitter when I found the post they were posting on with the original person who brought the subject up. Overnight, they deleted all of their posts after I starting questioning them about their hypocrisy.
Also, I never realized that the Senran Kagura roster was “that” huge. I mean, I recognize some of the ones not in the main character listing but the others…I never even seen them before.
Twitch doesn’t even know what it’s banning. God damn whoever you communicated with is a dumbass.
these competitive fighting mechanics really revolutionize fighting games in the best ways!!
