edit: something like, if you see an important post that can be help to players in certain matchups, you can link the OP the POST, not thread and next to it you put a small description of what the post is. Like a resource… for when ppl need that info, they don’t have to keep asking question, etc.

edit: here never was a combo thread. Can’t count Character Specific a combo thread, so yeah a combo thread to give the boards a shine. Going to PM a mod to clean stuff up. By the way, vs T. Hawk, I did not suggest f.MK > st.MP because st.MP whiffs sometimes and sometimes it doesn’t. I was told it’s 1 frame… but I still don’t understand why… maybe in one of the frames where it’s +2 on f.MK, is where st.MP whiffs? That’s ridiculous.

Something about evil ryu bugs me, I’m not sure if cr.mk into his overhead any version is a true block string. Also against oni, ultra one rapes his whole moveset, can punish his f.hp, his sweep, cr.hp, his air dash away, his Teleport “gouken like move” EX version is like -9 frames and above on block. Also if oni whiffs tatsu heavy version and goes over you i’m pretty sure you can ultra 1 him since he doesn’t go that far, and all his fire balls of course.

So basically with oni you can tear him up with St.hk/st.HP cause of the start up time on his f.hp, st.mk, his teleport like move before it even hits you and many other moves that uses standing up.

Just did his non-oiled meaty slide setup, it’s Super punishable, other than that he’s completely safe and he can go for an mix-up after but that’s different and unrelated to this thread. Super punishable for non-oiled meaty slide setup.

I think this is where I post this but I was having trouble with the t. hawk match up before and I just played a match with a #14 t.hawk(as if it matters) and punished almost all of his jumps. Just get in the right range and do jump toward HP whenever he jumps…even if he does condor dive you hit him out of it. Whatever you do make sure you’re at the right range so that even if he does an empty jump you still hit him.

I have a question about fei though. Is there an option select to hit him out of his ex or regular chickenwing on his wake up? If not and I suspect hes going to do it whats my best option?

Yun - Blocked LK Upkicks go for st.HK xx EX MGB. Blocked HK just walk and hit f+MK > st.HK xx EX MGB and he should be eating 420 dmg and 600ish stun for daring to try to reversal you.

Annoyingly you cannot OS his backdash from a safe jump set up with U1.
