He does this:
- Attributes the problem to “people have more stuff than others.” It is not about this, nor has it ever been.
- Calls common people “self-entitled pricks.” self-explanatory.
- “There’s no looser.” Where the fuck was that mentality when the bottom was falling out and everyone needed a bail-out? Where was it? According to them it should have been “Oh well. We lost this time. Let’s start over.” Look in the mirror, right?
- Mr. Jenkins. That would be awesome if Mr. Jenkins wasn’t fixing his books and engaging in insider trading and then turning around and asking ME for a bail out when the shit hits the fan and he’s left with nothing to show for it but that Rolls Royce and facing loosing it all. Who’s the self-entitled prick again?
- Seriously. Re-naming Christmas caused this? Are you kidding me?
- So, by the mentality in %5, that means it’s okay for other cultures to not give a fuck about ours and disregard ‘our’ holidays right? Terrorists can look down on us because let’s face it, renaming Christmas means we’re giving in to people, but when they trample our culture it’s terrorism.

Corporate execs felt no pain from the economic down turn (aside from that sinking feeling in the gut knowing that everything they owned was worth about jack $HIT), so of course they did just that. “Meh. Not MY fault. I worked hard to get where I’m at.” Sure, but YOU ALSO ENGAGED IN ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES TO HELP YOU ALONG THE WAY. Not all of them, I’m sure (even though Mr. Carolla is essentially blaming the entire middle class / working poor for this), but definitely a good majority of upper-level managers either engaged in it or knew about it. Hell, that’s THEIR JOBS, to know what’s going on in the company. So either they knew and did nothing to stop it, or they didn’t know which meant they weren’t doing their jobs and are therefore entitled to neither a bonus or a bail-out. Which one is it?
Tired of this “kids these days” mentality. It’s bullshit. the whole system as it is is bullshit and y’all mad for being called on it. Suck it up and lose already, like you expect the poor man to do. I mean, it’s obviously your own fault. Didn’t work hard enough, I guess.
if it where only as simple. Nuclear is a scary word. Why should people have to live in fear of “teh nuclear” just because " ‘the illegals’ took our jerwbs" and now we’re unable to think up a better solution than storming into an oil field with guns and claiming it? I can understand the fact that illegal immigrants shouldn’t be working jobs in the United States. Found illegal immigrants should in theory be deported out of the US. However, why is the sole blame on the immigrants themselves? Why not the employers hiring these people? Are you just going to fault the people taking drugs, or the drug dealers themselves? There’s a reason why they are here.
No more jobs = less illegal immigrants.
It’s easier to demonize brown people than rich people we might someday become if only we pull ourselves by our bootstraps and stop being lazy, apparently.
Or just streamline the process by which an immigrant achieves citizenship and focus our attention on other border issues, such as drug violence.

I’m saying is that there were a significant number of Jews that were directly involved in the sale of black slaves…and just one seller of slaves should be “significant” to anyone with a shred of morals (although there are plenty more examples than just this one).
The article also meantions that very few Jewish people were slave owners. This is true, as they primarily dealt with sale, not actually using slaves.
There is really no evidence in your article, so it really holds little weight.
Adam Carolla’s talk is pretty much the stance the 53% has. He isn’t talking for them, but I actually don’t think his opinion is wrong. I do sympathize with a lot of the things that the 53% have to say.
Or just build privatized detention centers and make money off those people. Herd them in there, get the state to pay you, and you’re gold. That’s what they’re doing nowadays. See a need, fill a need. It’s what makes this country great. They even got Wells Fargo investing in the idea.
