Wow that really really helps. I got it down in training mode… now I need to implement it into my game =).
god, i wish i could pull this off on the regular d-pad on xbox360 i need my stick asap !!
i got like a ratio of 10% though i cold throw out the burning kick after seismo just fine
Great post. I completely agree with everything. Use that back dash, and learn to block guys. It will win you games. Viper can zone like no-bodies business, and get out of zoning too, she’s mobile, agile and will fuck you up if she can land a combo.
I’ve played 704 matches online in four weeks, I know you will get better and start flossing on those Ryu/Sagat/Blanka guys when you grind out the matches like I have.
And QCB, UF + P is officially the method I’ll use from now on. I can’t believe it’s so easy to chain em together now.
I still dont see how gcb + uf p equates to seismo. I get thunder knuckle when i use this, but when i use df instead or d it seems to work.
Happens to me too sometimes so now i always try to do :df::qcb::uf: and it works… I did 4 in a row a few times today in training. I still have execution issues whenever Im in a match though, especially XBL matches since her timing is so strict. Im total garbage at this game but I know i have to keep at it if i want to get better.
Ive found that when facing right:
:df::df::ub: + p works the best for me after the 1st.
And facing left:
:db::df::ub: + p is golden.
To be honest its more about the timing then the motion, ive found i have pretty much 90% if i start the motion right when i hear the noise of her slamming the ground.
This is training mode tho
hm… what other shortcut motions are there?
I think thats it? Anyway i think its the worst possible thing they could have done because now dp motions happen too easily. Ill find my self doing koryukens with Dan from mid screen when im just trying to do ex gadoken. WHY WOULD I DO KORYUKENS FROM MIDSCREEN!?!?!
I still prefer df, df, u and P, but practicing the new method helped me get much better with the timing to do Burning Kick or Thunder Knuckle after EX Seismo. It didn’t work out for me like I hoped, though. Perhaps it’s because of my stick.
I’ll keep trying but for now I keep doing Burning Kick or Thunder Knuckle by mistake. And I’m trying to make sure I hit df first. I guess it’s really picky for my stick.
pretty much same for me but on the ps3 =[
Sounds very interesting. I still have problems doing Seismo xx Seismo, on PSN that is. I just get so hyped up when playing, can’t keep my cool face on
I’ll try this as soon as I get home from work before the casuals!
i still think magnetomaniac’s way is the best. i watch the yellow aura around viper after the dust, when that starts to dissipate, i input the next one quickly. i can pull it off in matches consistently, so its the best way for me.
i decided to give the siesmo cancel a try yesterday when i got home from work in the morning and i did it with in my second try. Im not consistent yet especially when im facing right but it really the easiest advance move she has. for facing right i did the dfx2 - ub+p and facing left i did dp - uf+p which is really easy cause i did 5 reps first try and did 6 reps by my 4th try. Also i was able to do 2lp - 3mp - 1hp siesmos which i found weird
ohhh, slooowly and after you see her strike. I was trying it today and doing it as fast as possible, and it only came out maybe 4 or 5 times and superjumps or supers the rest of the time. Guess i have something to try tomorrow.
Seismo x 6 down lol… i hadn’t ever tried to do this before but watching kryo’s vid of him nail 6 back to back this morning was pretty much motivation. I should be able to use this in matches now since i know the timing. thanks for the tips guys.
I can now do six, but only facing left. I need to get it to at least three facing right. And I too, use the :qcb::ur: motion. My brother and I laughed at Viper and SFIV seeing as this is the TK motion (both Tiger Knee and Thunder Knuckle).
I got it in both directions, the motion is easy the timing is what was weird, back to practing HJC BK’s now i’m not consistent enough at that to use it in match play which is weird.
LOL can someone put this in a more simple term for the second seismic? I’m new sorry…
Simply put you are canceling a superjump with seismo hammer after doing a seismo hammer. the way i practiced it was 1st learn to seismo hammer then super jump, to can get the timing down. then find what seismo command was best, for me, to cancel that super jump there are alot of options a few of which are posted some aren’t just experiment for what fits you best.
:qcb::uf::lp: ad nauseam. As it’s been said before, if you’re getting a Super Jump at any point during the motion, that means you are doing the motion too fast. Also, unless the seismo makes contact, you won’t get another one. If any of them whiff, you’ve lost it. Which is why, unless your opponent walks forward and blocks another, six is the maximum.
