Seimitsu LS-32 and Seimitsu LS-56

It’d be nice to see those without the gates covering up the PCB and switches. Also looking at the 56 it looks like there is way more throw than the 40, which could make it a slower stick in the end.

LS-56 actuator has the same size at up side and down side. In both 32/40, the part of actuator that hits switches is bigger than the part that hits restrictor but its impossible to notice that looking from that angle. LS-56 is very compact, the throw can be the same as LS-40 but not bigger.

I LOVE the LS32, it is my favorite joystick by far. I was just wondering if they make a hard/heavy spring for the LS32 because sometimes I wouldn’t mind having one with a little tighter/quicker reset for a game like MVC3. Any suggestions?

You can stretch the spring a little bit for increase resistence, but i recomend you to keep extra original springs cause you may want to get back to original feeling sometime.

There’s a Daiso by Serramonte in Daly City.

You can add extra springs that you can get from hardware stores like home depot.

I don’t own a LS-40 but I do have 2 sticks equipped with the LS-56 and one with a stock LS-32 and I can say that the 56 is the only stick I’ll be sticking with. Also Slagcoin’s chart is slightly off for LS-56 specs, as I’ve heard from numerous Seimitsu pros, the 56 has the shortest throw/engage and stiffest spring.

I have both of them and LS-40 it´s the better stick from far away:rock:

i second that, i currently have 3 sticks with LS-40-01s in them and working on getting more LS-40-01 to swap out the others. They are currently hard to find though, lizardlick is sold out and most other places except akihabara don’t carry them.

Edit: hey, lizardlick.com is stocked again, ordered 2 more and some other stuff i needed.

Exactly

is this a square gate 56 or circular?
