Ultra 2 is hardly a long animation. quit crying.
OS motion is cr. lk, qcfx2 kkk. If you do it right, then the kkk’s should come out as a st. lk if the first cr. lk was blocked. If you want a cr. lk instead do qcfx2, df kkk. This will give you two blocked cr. lk’s if they block the first one.
yeah, cammy can do something similar. Easier said that done tho, hehe. Gotta be really fast with those 2 qcf
You can practice the same input using Abel’s U2.
:d::lk::df::f::qcf::3k:
Has anyone ever told you that you’re…well…sort of unpleasant?
Chill man, it was a joke and nobody is crying. I’ll be real for a second here though. Truth of the matter is these boards can be a great source of info from very knowledgeable and pleasant people like Deadeye, Dustlooper, Bloodcrave, etc. The less fortunate truth is that some people are opinionated to the point of being obnoxious and needlessly assert themselves at every opportunity.
Ok I’m retiring from real talk it’s exhausting work haha
Wow awesome stuff thanks guys.
I would imagine Yang also has some good OS with his jumpin target combo. Can’t wait for console release to figure more of this stuff out.
Me 2. I probably guess that there are going to be more Yun players than Yang probably.I listened to Mike Ross interview and I heard that "Yun is too overpower and sooner and later everybody is going to realize that Yang is better.so everybody is goin to switch to Yang"If that happens, then I got alot competition on my hands.
Were was this interview?
Yes, they have, actually. Welcome to the Internet.
Back on topic - I’m wondering if that OS works on block - Yang whiffed the c.lp in the OS, but would it still catch comeone mashing out a backdash during a series of low jabs?
If c.lp hits, he’ll do a s.lk. If it whiffs, Yang’ll do a U2. Try it with Abel’s U2 it training mode.
Neutral jump should beat it, though.
Here it Is: 1T-TtZ9iT9M]YouTube - Interview With Mike Ross on SSF4 AE - [Planet Zero Arcade / 0ShinAkuma0
neutral jump will not beat that option select, if that’s what you’re saying. That’s the whole point of the c.jab in the first place.
I shouldn’t think neutral jump would beat the OS, they’d just get hit by partial ultra, correct?
Thanks alot.
Ok, neutral jump does not beat the option select because of… the c.jab. If it’s timed correctly the c.jab will not let them jump. The vast majority of option selects are done on the opponents wakeup, so if it’s timed right, the opponent will just get hit.
I should have said that if the low jab was meaty, neutral jumping would not beat the OS. I wasn’t specific enough on my half; my bad.
Not sure if this has already been posted but there’s a decent built in ambiguous crossup setup following U1 @ 3:20 in
U1 > Dash > Jump > Divekick to hit from front or j.MK to hit from behind.
Me and U should play against each other when the game comes out.Yang vs Yang matchup
This kind of tactic is used a lot, especially after throws or comboing to rollkick, since the hitbox of j.mk is pretty much smack dab in the centre of Yang’s sprite/model/animation. I’ve seen that vid before but never noticed that part, good stuff.
That would be great.
