With how Yakuza 6 ended, I really hope Kiryu is just making a cameo and not much else. Honestly I think it’s just better if they let the character rest for good, as much as I love him. I don’t mind fan favorites like Majima and others returning since there’s very little reason for them NOT to, but Kiryu’s story is over. Let the character rest.
I just pretend that he is retired somewhere with Sayama.
