You must have switched to easy mode, maybe when Kiryu fucks you up on the beach. It asked me if I wanted to downgrade to Easy after he fucked me up three times and I said No.

I got the trophy first time through on Normal, so I know you can get it on the first playthrough.

oh no no no no: I NEVER switched difficulty. I was playing on Hard mode, and apparently you can only get it if you’re playing on Normal mode and not Hard =_=
Mind you the fight against Kiryu was my least difficult battle.
The ones in the prison? Those were my first retries in the game XD.

I had 3 retries, 2 on Kiryu, 1 was just walking around with my health flashing, not wanted to use any drinks so I could get more XP from a restaurant. I didn’t make it, got into a fight and one guy had a tazer and tazed me and I died.

Oh I downloaded the demo and as soon as I get paid Imma cop this game. I liked the first 2 but 3 i didn’t play. With Kiryu i did this nasty suplex on the wall but I can’t do it anymore. How the hell do i do his wall suplex??

Also did part 3 have all these cool heat moves? and should I just pick that up with 4?

I want to get into this series.

I bought part 1 and 2 from gamestop. I’m going to play them sometime this week and get through them. What’s the best game in the series? It seems everyone is enjoying part 4 so far.

Also I’ve been reading in a few forums that Of the end WILL get an English release (at best a 2012 release).

Apparently the controls will be fixed for the English release.

Looks like PSP is going to go with a force… that’s cool shit… Persona 2 getting a remake and now this… well done, well done… I gotta have this on dat UMD… all good games that need to be kept for years to come are always on hard copy… fuck that DLC shit…

I just beat Yakuza 4 a couple of days ago. I was messing around trying to beat all the side mission stuff before doing the final fights. Gotta say Ultimate Skill mode in this game was fun.

Yakuza 5 is still in very early development stages, and a US release of it will prob. be either in 2013 or 2014.

Seeing Kamurocho again is fine. In fact, it’d be probably would be a bit odd to have a game without having such a hallmark in it. I just hope adding in a new city will justify being able to have a larger game.

And they BETTER choose Osaka, if they know what’s good for them! Palling around with and/or beating up fools with Kansai dialects is just something that needs to happen!
