I did. The porn place is easily one of my favorite sidequest
I’m doing the fortune teller side story. I’m pretty sure I’m getting a bunch of Easter eggs and references dropped on me and I don’t get a single one. What’s this about my man Kiryu having eight kids and being a cab driver?

As you suspect they are easter eggs. Do you want spoilers or no?
I don’t want spoilers. I can’t imagine how this guy will be responsible for eight kids though.
I want Naito in my crew…
Yakuza 6 delayed until April…yet the West gets a demo late this month.
Always thought of Nishiki as a extremely underrated character in the series.
Someone did a really good video to sum his character up.
It’s a Kotaku video but as long as you have a adblocker fine.
Nishiki was a good starter villain of the series. I still think that just a little more could have been with the Kiwami final boss fight. Because, what happened here is that they added several things to Nishiki’s move set (after Yakuza 0 of course, when Majima first fought him). But, they also took a few things away too from his original move set in the original Yakuza 1. I elaborate on that later though.
Here is some of my (questionable) game play against Jo Amon (Kiwami) and a pseudo-guide on defeating him. Those who do not know who he is, it might be a good idea to simply wait until you run into him yourself. Read the spoilers at your own discretion.

Notes:
-Jo Amon only seems to use his signature bombs when you start using the other styles and if you make him block at a certain point from using strikes from the said styles. So, staying in Dragon of Dojima style seems to work.
-He does actually have the Tiger Drop, but Jo will not use it on any consistent basis. He also has Komaki’s dashing step punch move but again, he does not use this consistently.
-When Jo uses the Mad Dog style, the player will notice some differences: First off, he does use the same Square string as Majima does, but it can start from the roundhouse kick but it can also start from a low sweep. Be careful about the latter. Because, I don’t think you can Tiger Drop lows.
-Strangely, the Jo also use the style in a way that it was “designed” in Yakuza 0, where he has the running “stance”. You can actually Tiger Drop (or do any other kind of parry) while he is in the stance because he is technically “attacking” the player in this stance.
-He also uses Majima’s spinning blade (the Circle button) to attack. Don’t get deceived by the range of this attack. Even on normal difficulty, it will cause instant death if you are caught.
-When his health gets low enough, that’s when you are going to have to be careful where you plan your strikes. You will no longer put him in hit stun. You will have to do whatever you can to abuse the Heat actions and the like. Also, this may already be well-known: Try to avoid using the same heat actions if you can because you won’t net as much damage if you do so.
I think I just tiger dropped his ass.
Compared to the other Amons this dude was a pushover.

Jo Amon in 0 was not much to write home about either (in fact, he was arguably easier).
So Amon… it got a bit weird to say the least, especially with that helicopter gimmick.
IIRC, So actually has a laser beam (basically an exaggerated energy beam like what you would expect from an anime). Didn’t really find out until much later though in a tweet.

Hoping this game comes stateside.
I finished Yakuza Zero. The game is wild ride man. It’s kinda crazy how Majima did all that for Makoto and she didn’t even get to know his name. It seems he settled on being bat shit crazy by the end. The bowl cut looks hideous. I wish he kept his hair the way it was.
Time to move on to Kiwami.
Well, I never finished Kiwami, and at this point I don’t know if I even will. Y0 was great though
I missed the last 2 yakuza games, but Im hella hyped for Y6.
Game looks great.
I’m on chapter 4 in Kiwami. Things have been jarring for me from the start. Majima is my favorite character in Zero and in Kiwami he’s a goofy unhinged lunatic with a hard on for Kiryu. It’s quite the 180. What the fuck happened to Nishiki? He was such a bro in Zero. It’s breaking my heart.
Yakuza Kiwami 2 on August 28,2018 for US PS4!
SKEET SKEET!!
I’m so behind on the PS4 Yakuza games…I can wait for this one.
They even updated my favorite track from the game.
I’m finishing up Kiwami. I’m definitely buying Kiwami 2 and Y6 when they drop but I’m in a bind. I want to keep up with the series and I want to know if Yakuza 3 and 4 are worth hunting down or am I better off with a youtube walkthough?
if you still got a ps3 laying around you can hook up, I would jump over Y4 and Y5 in a heart beat.
I checked the PSN store and saw that Yakuza 4 is available digitally. That just leaves 3 being the game I’ll have to hunt down.
