It’s cheap, it’s nostalgic, and it has some good-ass games. To top it off, it’s selling to the “It’s new; I gotta have it” pop culture of Japan. It’ll sell.
I have a genesis in excellent shape I bought on clearance at toys R us for 15.00 brand new, the last gen small ones. I wouldn’t be interested in something like this unless it supported all of the Sega system controllers (DC/Saturn/Genesis) and the games too. Now you sell a combo Saturn, Genesis, DC that plays Japanese and American versions of all of those games, I’d be on that like white on rice.
Make a new Story of Thor and/or Panzer dragoon.

- No Burning Rangers or other rare Saturn hits on XBLA/PSN or a collection disc.

…; Considering my 16-bit Genesis still works perfectly, I really don’t need that. Though frankly, it’s painfully obvious that Sega is trying desperately not to go under. A Sega fan’s nightmare really is Nintendo buying Sega. That rumor was bad enough.
But if they do go under, I’d love for Sony to buy Sega.

Frame rate is kinda messed up and loading times are stupid long(the latter was fixed via online patch last weekend however by SONY). The frame rate isn’t enough to prevent you from enjoying the game, but there’s no reason for it to be there in the first place.
I’m willing to bank that with a game like Bayonetta, they were more in tune with designing it for the 360 over the PS3. Doesn’t help that Sega won’t be making any improvements to the PS3 version either. Overall, I’d say it’s an issue with the developers for making that flub. I forget which other game they did that to as well, but it was aggravating to see it happen when the PS3 is extremely capable of amazing graphics. Shitty conversions… a way to boost 360 sales.
