Sega Lindbergh Arcade Panels. Available now @ Jasen's Customs

Jasen from Jasen’s Customs has recently had the opportunity to take measurements of the Sega 2L12B Lindbergh arcade panel and is now willing to have reproduction panels made right here in the U.S. Having them made and shipped directly from the U.S. will save interested parties a great deal of money. Here is a pic of the panel that is to be recreated (not the actual reproduction panel from Jasen):

Panel in it’s native habitat:

According to @Trugoy, who is the gentleman kind enough to lone Jasen his panel so that the measurements could be taken to create these reproductions, the panel should fit the following cabinets:

Taito Vewlix (All)
Namco Noir (Including the Tekken 6 and Tag 2 Cabinets)
Sega Lindbergh
Delta 32 (sometimes called the New Delta)
Red Storm and Black Storm 32

There may be more, so if there are any more knowledgeable folks out there who can offer further insight, please chime in and let us know. You can also install these panels in custom enclosures which is what I plan on doing myself. Here is an example of a 1 player Lindbergh panel mounted on a custom wood enclosure:

It should be possible to get different layouts on the panel to each persons preference. These layouts include 1 player and 2 player with options for different numbers of buttons and even the option to choose between Noir, Sega, and Vewlix. The panels will be powder coated with the same options for color that are available for the Panzer Fightstick and Jasen’s superguns (see picture below). As some of you may know, Jasen also does custom art cuts for arcade panels. Bundled with the panel the art will only cost $12.95 USD and Jasen will apply the art himself. Each panel will have JLF style joystick mounts standard.

Pricing is all up on Jasen’s site. Panels are $99.95 and art is $12.95. The turn around time for each panel is 5-7 days after the order is received but production will not begin until the preorder period is over. This is just an interest check so nobody is actually collecting money for these yet.

There you have it folks. Please comment here and let us know if you’re interested.

Thanks Wiley for posting this up! As with everything I do, I promise these will be as true to the original as I humanly can make them with the highest possible quality.

Damn it , now I want to make a Lindbergh stick.

Sorry Dark… when people ask for something cool to be made, I can’t turn them down!

Don’t be sorry for doing Awesome work. The one who is sorry is my Wallet.

Take it as a yes vote on my part.

Now if someone offers a awesome custom enclosure for the panel I am done for. LOL.

This is really cool

Hey now! Calm down dude! I can only flood the market with so many things at one time!

@iNENDOi‌
Haha. Unfortunately for this thread, my focus right now is mainly just Sega Astro/Blast/Net/Naomi panel-enclosures (because I have a few CPs already).
Hell, I’m actually taking a break from cleaning up adhesive gunk from an older Astro 2P panel right now to write this message.

I have half a mind to mount it directly into a table top with a wall-mounted screen. I still have quite a few ideas for mounting. No clue what I’ll end up doing. I’m stoked to finally get one of these though. I think they’re sexy.

Damn that’s hot… so how will the pre-order process go down? I’m really interested in all this since I’m trying to make a mock redstorm cab anyways.

I guess I should add Red Storm and Black Storm to the list of compatible cabinets.

Don’t know if its the same but I was going to work with the wood CP to make it fit if need be.

It sure looks the same. I’m going to go ahead and add it and someone can correct me if I’m wrong. Everything that I have read suggests that panels from Delta cabs and Storm cabs are the same.

Regardless put me down as a yes. With the vinyl wrap that removes the need for plexi to sandwich art.

This would be so much better if there were actual enclosures for these things. @FreedomGundam‌ @VOLTECH‌ @b15sdm‌

That’s what I’m screamin!

I swear to all that is holy, the wooden case in your example photo is a re-purposed shelf thing from ikea !

Also, i’m included in the pre-order, I’d love a proper 2 player panel, or whatever variations we can get going.

Does the surface of the official Lindbergh panel have a bumpy texture to it? Kinda looks like it…
Awesome panel!

I dont think so, the tekken panel and vewlix ones i have are smooth laminates
