Yup, that was a build someone did a long time ago.
This is a superb idea! I made a ps2 dual stick back in 09’. overall decent…uhhhh it gets the job done aka it’s not that professional

That’s what’s up, @Mosque. Thanks for sharing. I found that pic in the Sega Appreciation thread, @d3v. That’s what made me want one in the first place.
I’d never seen a Lindbergh panel, they are gorgeous. Now I’m rethinking the vewlix panel I had in mind.
The overlays are what sets them off. Actually, IMO… any overlay really sets a panel off.
I never understood the hype behind vewlix.
I can’t commit to anything right now, but a 2p lindbergh panel with enclosure and repro art would be amazing.
I think it’s likely my favorite design.
Right now I count 5 people interested (with at least 5 panels). Someone check my math… I think thats right
If everyone who said they want one, actually comes through the panels are now $110 each.
Me either… Sega P2 for life!
When is the deadline? I’m leaning towards this panel now.
No real deadline per se. I’ll keep tabs on the interest thread for about a week or so and then go from there
yea it’s totally worth it. look at that pretty panel. so comfortable and gives the players more than enough space between the two. if you guys are thinking “ehh maybe I’ll preorder later” just do it now. At least put your name on the list and by the time all the preorders go through. boom. pay. This guy is going to make an exact size replica and it’s only gonna be 75 bucks. try to find a deal like that elsewhere. even rusty 2p astro panels go for more. get it. so worth it. I had a vewlix panel but sold it on account of the button layout. IMO sega layouts are the way to go.
Thanks!
I’ll have a Astro Panel brand new and minty shortly… for about $75 as well.
Jasen
That’s not entirely true. If you find the right seller at the right time, you can get them for WAY less.
Back on topic, Lindbergh panels looks really nice and wide. I’d get one, but I’m already decently invested in Astro/Blast panels, mainly in preparation of eventually getting a Blast City cabinet.

True. But that just goes without saying.
Haha, sorry, that’s not exactly what I meant.
What I meant to say was: you’re paying too much if you’re forking out $75 for a rusty Astro Panel. A brand new one, or a repro stainless steel one? $75 would definitely be a worthwhile price. But not a rusty one that you’ll have to spend time and effort restoring.
yes true. but you know ebay. ppl buy the craziest things at the highest prices. me personally I get mine from japan used with cig smell all over em… better than rust lol
Will this actually include the exact Sega Lindbergh artwork overlay?
This is pretty cool but i dont think many people actually have these cabs though, maybe you might have a better turnout if you had astro/blast/naomi layout or atomiswave/egret 2&3…A really nice one would be maybe you & Kray can do panels for his Kraylix cabs. The possibilities of switching out different button layout panels would be sweet.
Rcaido, I have reached out to Kray regarding this very same thing. I have a cab of his and am quickly wanting to swap my panel for a 1P.
I am going to provide reproduction Sega Blast/net/Astro panels seperate from this panel. Just finishing the designs now based on the new panel I brought back from Japan.
Yea, when you’re solo, or online warrior-ing, 1p panel is the best!
Having a great 2p panel to swap in when friends post up is the goal here…
I’m hoping we can get to 10 at least, for the minor price break, and a little community going for the panel/cabinets.
Also, remember if you want one of these panels, they do fit the actual cabinets… sooo… (watch out for cross promotion here)
Thats the post for another interest check for the actual Vewlix L cabinets… the price is right!
