Among the X-men, I’m betting it’s either Beast, Emma, Cyclops, Rogue or Hiseo.
Beast would be the most likely, because it’s a chance to get rid of the Cat form and final Morrison change to the series. (Just when they find an artist that actually makes the design look good finally lol) Same applies to Rogue, fixing the changes to her character.
I’d hate to be right about Emma or Cyke though. I’ve been enjoying the much needed characterzation Whedon gave them.

After the New Avengers Annual I think Jessica Jones is a Skrull. Or Luke Cage… They found a way to get past Dr. Strange’s reveal all spell. The baby is most def half Skrully.
It would be Jessica. Why Luke? He’s the first one pointed out that something was wrong about the events that were going down(the Raft breakout, Secret War and Civil War).
'Cuz all of that could be done on purpose by Bendis to throw people off. If Luke is a Skrull, pointing fingers at everyone else is a good cover. Besides, Skrully baby revealed that one of them might be a Skrull, and Luke Cage can be a psych out so you swear it’s Jessica Jones. Unless the baby is not a Skrull and that’s a trick… Hmm, maybe Luke’s not even the daddy! Shrug… I dunno…
Bendis is also writing the Halo comic so now we all know that Master Chief is a Skrull. There you go, no need to see what’s going on under his helmet.

Remember, dude, back in Alias, Jessica used to get it on with Scott Lang. Maybe the old Ant Man was a Skrull, so maybe he’s the father of Jessica’s baby. At the end of Alias, she just assumed it was Luke’s. I guess the amount of months that passed was kind of vague, but hey - Alias was a Bendis book. And Scott Lang conveniently died in Disassembled. I think his skeleton might’ve been found after the explosion that destroyed the mansion, though. So maybe he was human after all. Unless it was all a trick by Scarlet Witch’s magic.
Or maybe Bendis is just fucking with us all. In which case, let me spread my ass wider. No homo. Of course.

Well remember when there was talks of a skrull at Camp Hammond. Well in Avengers Initiative #9 we found out that Crusader is the skrull with the Freedom Ring BUT he doesn’t know about the skrulls secret invasion plus he has a little soft spot for Earth. That might help out Stark a little
Anyway, this needs a wee bit of a bump.
People who will be skrulls:
Spider-Man (the New Avengers Spidey just doesn’t fit in with BND, and rather than a whole lot of silly retconning on Bendis’ part, Bendis will just say there were two Spideys, one in Amazing, one in NA)
Lindy Reynolds (she has apparently died twice, but I’m definitely thinking the skrulls replaced her with a skrull after Ultron “killed” her)
Namor (everyone already said why…he’s in the same situation as Bolt)
Nitro (The guy who started the Civil War has to be a skrull, if not simply for the timing. Couple this with the fact that he was last seen with Namor, and it’s pretty convincing that he’s a skrull)
Jarvis (he went on a vacation not too long ago on Stark’s orders, and the Mighty Avengers are gonna definitely have a skrull watching them)
Maria Hill (just think about it)
Strongly doubt it. I think BND Spider-Man would up and notice there was another Spider-Man on New Avengers… Anyway Spidey’s still in the black outfit so everything that’s happening in NA is before OMD/BND. In Secret Invasion artwork Spidey’s in the red and blue outfit so it will either fall right before OMD where he still has the red and blue outfit or during BND.
Probably not too much for Spider-Man in NA that Bendis has to touch on. All they have to do is show the continuity wave smack everybody and they forget Peter Parker’s identity, and that’s it… There’s not really a lot of stuff NA has to retcon.
NA Spider-Man as of late hasn’t been dealing with his marriage at all, his stingers, organic webs, his powers to see in the dark or the extra five/ten tons he can lift and his ability to speak to small spiders, all the stuff that got retconned out anyway. Well, other than the marriage, organic webs and stingers nobody’s messed with any of this stuff anyway…
Though yeah if Marvel’s gonna retcon things the way I think they are, after BND Spidey and MJ were living together in Starks’ Tower with Aunt May during NA, just that Spidey and MJ were no longer married. I think… kind of confusing…
Well Bendis is pretty selective with the things he references so we’ll see how things play out. Ditto for Thunderbolts. For now I think BND is going to be ahead of everything for it to really matter right now with regards to NA and Thunderbolts.
Possibly…but why would it be that in OMD he went to Strange, and he wasn’t like “hey Spidey, me an’ them New Avengers are tryna get Jessica Drew to take her top off, wanna join?” You can chalk it up to an insanely impossible continuity in Marvel at this point…but I just don’t think it’d work out. The New Avengers work in secret, so it’s likely that Spider-Man wouldn’t have even been seen by the other Spider-Man…or vice versa.
True, but I don’t wanna see them spend a whole lot of time justifying how Luke Cage keeps calling Spidey a skrull, despite the fact he hasn’t even seen him under the mask, and especially when everyone else isn’t even wearing theirs.
Well Luke along with everyone on planet Earth saw Spider-Man’s face, they just forgot who it was after BND, according to Marvel. So after BND he just wouldn’t unmask anymore, maybe just lift the area around his mouth so Echo can read his lips…
Um, I just think it’s confusing no matter how they handle this and making one Spidey a Skrull will just be more confusing. You never know I guess, whatever Bendis added to Xorn made that character more confusing too…
Who knows WHAT has happened with Xorn? I mean, that’s one ridiculous story that’s the prime example of how having 6 writers chime in on a character within 2 years can’t possibly work out well.
Anyway, Luke was saying up and down that Spidey was a skrull, and it’d just be weird if EVERYONE else was sitting around with their masks off while Spidey is sitting there with his on, with nobody knowing who he is. I just think they’ll skrull Spidey out of the New Avengers for continuity issues and potential “why are you still wearing your mask and why haven’t I pointed this out until just now?” issues.
But really, Spidey never should’ve been in a team, IMO. He couldn’t make the F4 or Avengers cut back in the 70s and 80s, so why now?
