SECRET INVASION SPOILERS! Who will be the next character revealed to be a Skrull?

Yeah it was a super skrull galactus. which still doesnt make sense :looney:

Decent issue all in all. Next issue is gonna be straight action son :woot:

AVENGERS ASSEMBLE!!!

Anyway it was pretty good. Finally we have something going on.

Ms Marvel # 30

Spoiler

Ms. Marvel runs into some type of Super Skrull with the ability to choose a ton of different powers. Like an uber version.

So the whole issue is of her mindlessly punching and she even pokes the guys eyes out.

Its later revealed that this Super Skrull has a Hydra tattoo on it and it hates skrulls as she uses it to attack other skrulls.

There is no revelation as to why the one with the tattoo hates skrulls.

Final part of the issue goes a few months into the future with Carol maybe being a spy about to punch some guy.

I’m waiting for the Unicron skrull.

Dont even get me started the ending was pure crap! No clue of how they pull it off? Storm doesnt do anything at all (and that says alot comparing complaints of Hudlin’s Storm) I mean come on that’s it? :shake:

The only excuse I see is that it seems it is on purpose to NOT tie up the loose ends (neatly) until the ENTIRE SI story is finished in November. Hey it may lead to the Storm Mini?

“it was there soul, that’s how they were detected”:rolleyes:

I expected more.
deadpool is a way better read than this.
and shouldn’t that message on the wall been Green? tsk tsk.

I did expected more as well. As often people were complaining about getting a new writer or have Aaron replace hudlin and this is what we get? It is a sad day and now since BP wont have another book for the rest of the year.

Well that means that the one who was fighting the super skrulls was a skrull all along? I hope not. I’ll admit I liked how they both implaled the guy but it just seems incomplete.

I don’t know how anyone is surprised that Marvel has shitty endings to big events. They take almost the entire run to build to up something, and then don’t leave enough issues to finish things off properly.

even so but the tie-ins shouldnt have the same effect as well. They should at least give you a clue on what is coming up for the next issue. It didnt even do that.

Am I the only one who liked the end of the Wakanda arc? You don’t need to explain Wakanda tech, it just works.

Deadpool is FANTASTIC as a tie-in as well as a DP book. Although everybody here should be reading it because it’s DP anyway, this should be even more incentive. Holla atcha boy.

for me it’s not that i expected there to be more explaination of what tech was used. but what i did expect from 2 powerhouses like black panther and storm plus the wakandans and there technology was a full out massacre of the skrulls.

I think them handling the skrulls forcing them to retreat fearfully and then getting annihilated by the rest of the skrull army for retreating would have been better than writing that message on the wall.

that’s just imo though.

the message at the end was awesome. Maybe my second favorite SI tie in.

Well here’s some juicy Secret Invasion rumors about the post-SI

SI

Spoiler

Tony Stark is fired from SHIELD as a result of Secret Invasion and Norman Osborn is promoted up to the ladder as new Director of SHIELD, which will be the focus of the next couple of storylines for Marvel, as Tony’s vileness and short-sightedness from Civil War has resulted in one of the biggest super-villains of the Marvel Universe now knowing EVERYONE’S secret identity.

Maybe thats how this " Dark Rayne" starts next year. And maybe the villians are the new “Dark Avengers” ive heard about.

And Tony hittin the bottle again.

His suit can’t shapeshift, he has cloaking technology.

Inhumans # 3

[details=Spoiler]This issue really changes the landscape of the Inhumans.

Rundown - Starts with Maximus telling a general history of the Inhumans and how Ronan defeats Black Bolt and Bolt regains his independance with the Inhumans. Then we go into the story of Medusa search for Black Bolt, and she comes upon a place that’s cloaked. The Inhumans go out into space, and there they meet Ronan and the Kree, who tells Medusa the Skrulls have already defeated the Kree. Medusa suggests a cooperation and Ronan chooses Crystal as his bride in the trade off. Medusa aggrees and Karnak goes straight to examining Skrull records and finds a weakness they can exploit and they go on 3 missions which seem to end awkwardly.

We learn that the Inhumans were formed as planet invaders, to conquer planets. So Medusa takes advantage of this and meets Ronan of the Kree and suggests this cooperation, with Crystal as the bait. Medusa agrees, while Crystal seeths. Meanwhile Black Bolt is trapped and his weakness is found to be Medusa sleeping with a Skrull Black Bolt during WWH. With this leaverage, the Skrulls can now access BB’s psyche, and can use him as a weapon, they want to aim at the moon, to test on.

This completely changes the Inhuman Royal Family, because now they have a space alliance with the Kree, and this naturally leads into the War of Kings in the future.[/details]

Wouldn’t everyone, especially Medusa, notice immediately that Black Bolt wasn’t acting like himself?

How does a skrull learn to act like someone who can’t speak yet can communicate with the simplest of movements.

I’m still surprised that Secret Invasion is still going on.

Yeah, the whole War of Kings promotions actually sort of spoiled that bit, because there is no way the Inhumans on the Moon would be able to contend with the Shi’Ar Empire in a true war.

But is it really?

[details=Spoiler] It is looking like Blackbolt and the Inhumans take over what is left of the Kree Empire at the end of the Secret Invasion tie in, leading into the eventual confrontation with Vulcan.

I personally feel bad for Ronan, poor fool has had a worst run than Bush at leading his people. What with Ultron raping his territory and now apparently getting fucked over by a bunch of religion thumping Skrulls.

:shake: [/details]

Spoilers pls

The latest GotG issue pretty much shows that this series had NOTHING to do with SI
