…So, is Cyclops being a Skrull obvious, or am I just imagining things? From his attitude lately (especially in Young X-Men #2) and the Skrull Variant of the last Uncanny X-Men ish, he seems a prime candidate.
I’ve been saying this for some time now: The Cyke in X-Force and YXM is a Skrull. Tho some have speculated that the Cyke in YXM is Donald Pierce in disguise; this could be true as well.

It turns out Iron Man, Spider-Woman, the Sentry, Spider-Man, Wolverine, Captain America and Luke Cage are all skrulls! WHODDATHUNKIT?!?!!?!?!
Yeah a cover with a Skrull version on it, does not mean that’s the case.
If anything, Panther will be the Skrull, not Storm.

So i read New Avengers #41 today

[details=Spoiler] It picks up during the big fight in Secret Invasion #2 when the T-rex came in and split everyone up. Basically Spiderman is split up from everyone and he meets up with the Savage Land people with Ka-zar and his wife leading them. Ka-zar gives Spidey the lowdown of whats been going down and this issue gives a flashback to the New Avengers #1 prior to the team following Sauron to the Savage Land. Ka-zar and his wife spot SHIELD using the natives to dig up vibranium. They take out one of the agents and accidently kill them and it transforms to a Skrull. Ka-zars wife goes in disguise as an agent and eavesdrops on the agents talking about their plans and finds that the New Avengers have already been infiltrated(more likely leaning towards Spider-Woman since they mention the Queen). Ka-zars wife is spotted and she and Ka-zar end up evading them and start building up an army to fight the Skrulls and to protect themselves. So after Ka-zar is done explaining the story to Spidey, the Captain America from the skrull ship comes in the start up a fight. End of issue.
Now given what happened here i can guess that Fury probably found out about the skrulls from Ka-zar somehow hence him telling Maria Hill to keep a lookout for anything suspicious which would explain why Hill decided to destroy the area where the skrulls were mining Vibranium.[/details]

Nah, Fury found out what the skrulls were doing because of how he shot the crap out of that ho he was with. I didn’t like this issue. It also seriously ignores the fact that a whole bunch of characters have recently been to the Savage Land. You’d figure that with Cyke and Emma taking a vacation, they’d say “btw, there are a buncha skrulls over there who we’re presently at war with,” and the same goes for Deadpool. Seriously, stupid shit in this issue.

you know you have good point with everyone and there momma taking random vacations to the Savage Land. Maybe i’m liking this event so much that i ignored that whole tidbit with everyone having been to the Savage Land. Then again i thought this issue did provide a little bit of information as to what was going down prior to the New Avengers rollin in to fight.

Its only about 6 issues long, but IMO its a good read since it comes after Decimation he becomes somewhat of a “savior” of mutant kind. Also has Death Gambit and Famine Sunfire
