I read in the newspaper yesterday that apparently David Stern said there’s a good chance that a team will move to Seattle after we lose the Sonics. My guess is that if we were to get a different team, it’d be the gross ass Memphis Grizzlies. While New Orleans is having massive attendance issues, they can play the “it’s New Orleans!” card and give us a barely not as shitty as our current team, team.
Went to the Kings vs. Sonics games Sunday, to bad they lost but Cesar (KYO84) randomly caught a shirt thrown into the crowd lol, Durant and Green are too good. Whats going on with the team moving, is it a sure thing? Miss the Payton/Kemp days.
That’s not good. I’ll get my Closer resume ready. For example, I have listened to the Nine Inch Nails album.
Last night was the Texas Rangers. I don’t feel too bad about the M’s losing to them - they’re the RowTron of baseball. Amazing offense some days, and other days you wonder what the hell they’re thinking as they just keep mashing.
As far as the Emerald City Event Center, hopefully it has a smashing great arcade. I don’t see that happening. And the Grizzlies? I wouldn’t care if the Sonics sucked (waiiiiiiit… they do) you don’t play NBA Musical Chairs. That’s pretty awful. I was watching some Jordan / Reggie Miller highlights yesterday and was wistful about when basketball was fun to watch. =P
