MvC3 players: GG’s to everyone I played in casuals and in singes/teams. Sorry for being so free; just started taking the game somewhat seriously a month ago, and due to nerves+the awful events of Thursday/Friday, my brain was kind of fried Still no excuse for sucking, and thanks for the advice+not going easy on my sister or myself… Wish we could have played more (and MvC2), but had to run GG tournaments <3

I will say that making the Sunday team tournaments in MvC3 and AE $20 per person was high, considering that by Sunday, almost everyone is broke having lost all their money to Neo.

I agree man. I heard AE teams were 15 a person and was planning on entering until I found out it was that much. That’s too much for a side tourney game that most people just enter for fun. I talked to a couple of people that were disappointed about that.

I’ll let you guys know that while playing in a team tourney might be cheap fun n games, running it is NOT fun at all. I think there’s no problem with TTs being $20 a head but we’ll see what happens next year.

Truth.
I’d say that when a tournament has as many scheduled major exhibition events as Season’s Beatings has (East v. West, Good v. Evil, US v. World, etc.), holding official SB-sanctioned team tournaments is not only incredibly difficult due to scheduling and space constraints, but also quite possibly superfluous.
Just my opinion though. I’d say the smartest option is staying out of it and leaving the responsibility of running the team tournaments to those who want to do it, which is what you did.
