pictures still upping… please tell me someone got Juice’s MM with Gamerbee… it was fierce like the button in the top right… and i’m hoping someone got the match between Mike Ross and E.Perez in the team tourney preferably with a player view cuz during the set both of em were wildin out and getting all kinds of hype… everytime Perez counter poked Honda with a nice Rog normal he’d give Mike one of these :nono: … it was great
my condolences got out to Floe for his loss… it was damn classy what you said and did for him Fuge… not alotta people get that Floe is one of the beacons of the midwest… and it’s nice to see the camaraderie and kinship that the FG community is known for in action… i’m sad that buttons kept tapping and there wasn’t dead silence for ari but i’m sure that anyone who knew him paid respect
on the subject of sandbagging or withheld preformance… I have it on good authority that Momoci was slacking in 3S casuals on the cabs on friday, but he played flatout in the actual competition the next days… btw Chris your team was great i wanna see the vids of you guys playing, i caught your team match against Jwong man i see you, made ryu look damn tricky
as for Daigo’s performance, i don’t wanna give him any excuses but i don’t think he was at his peak… i only say this cause right before his match with Marn i came outta the bathroom and found him knocked out hard on the couch in the back with some cats taking goofy pictures with him (where they at?) seconds later he was fighting off Marn’s Dudley… that’s no vaild excuse and his loss was certainly at his own discretion, i’m glad he got eliminated but i wanted an American player to win… but congrats to gamerbee none the less i don’t think he’s human

gg’s everyone i played at sbr. gg’s combofiend, gootecks, dr chaos, magneto maniac, wolfkrone, lud, chris hu, marn, and a bunch of people i forgot to name. yall are hella good.
Oh I had another quick note: I’m not adverse to criticism, so we’re looking at all that went well with SB:R and what went wrong. If you have gripes feel free to share them.
I wanted to share something else too though. SB:R is a tournament for you guys the players, because Fugee and I are players.
We try to run SB on that philosophy. This means that we DQ as few people as possible, we try to make sure you can run and finish side stuff, we don’t shorten pools to single elim or one game because time is short, and we took a hit financially on keeping the venue open late each night (Friday for Marvel teams – which was a side tourney that ended at 4 a.m. – and Saturday night for the last wave of pools then rearranging the venue for Sunday).
This also means the event runs mad late. Did I want to start pools at 11:30 after the 5v5? Not really but since SFIV teams (with 56 teams) didn’t finish Friday, the last 4 pools had to finish Saturday night, and I wasn’t scrapping the 5v5 to save two hours.
Obviously in the future I think we can do a tighter schedule and have a bigger staff and plan more in advance. I think we can keep accommodating the players while running better so that’s what I’m going to work towards if another SB pops off. In the meantime I’m really glad most of you see what we try to do for the community So yeah feel free to give us both kinds of feedback
