Sucks we couldn’t play casuals, since Lord Hollow had to roll out to go to work the next morning. I was glad to see everyone from MD/VA again. HAV, Zerb, Steve H, krost, Moroha, Lane, Keninblack, strogg, MagMan, Lud, Reljin, and Naki. It was my first time meeting Koop, so it was great to remove the “internet” from the equation and just chill. Thanks again to Jeff for letting me chill at the room for after Day 2.
Shout outs to everyone in Super Turbo. Frank and Chris for running a timely tournament and taking a chance on what was more than likely a logistical nightmare. Marsgatti and krost for support and chilling before, during, and after the tourney. I wouldn’t be where I am in the game without you guys. Fudd and ZeroDotJander?? who recorded the matches, great looking out for the community. James Chen and Damdai for the great conversation at the cab, and casuals later on. Koop as well, especially with that sick lean to side step my attempt at a candid photo opportunity lol. Grahf for following me on the long walk/chat to nowhere for no reason, sorry I couldn’t hang out with you guys post tourney but I was staying with a friend near Ohio State and my schedule was essentially his. If you think you can’t play ST on a fight pad, this man has some words for you.
This will probably be the last major for me until next year, so it was nice to have cab Super Turbo as my send off to the adventure that is “Real Life.” These past few years feel so short. I have a few vids and pictures of ST up on Facebook, I’ll be making those public but I still need to iron out the tags and get rid of some of the substandard shots. A friend is uploading the vids I took, but they’re nothing in comparison to what Fudd/ZeroDotJander got on camera, so hopefully I can just make some random “alabamaman” style contribution if anything.
I learned a lot this tourney, especially about just sticking to your guns. And I’m never telling anyone how to pick K-Cammy in Super Turbo lol. Fuck tier lists.

Wolfkrone/Banana Ken - We were coming back really far in teams. I think we did great, just that we had to play some of the top teams in our way. At least we took out teams that wanted to make their way as well. I think we beat like 6-8 teams in losers? Wolfkrone and I with a couple OCV’s, then BananaKen with the most clutch anchoring we could ask for. I had fun, will come back even better to win those key matches.
