The 3s competition was stacked this year and provided for great matches and fun casuals all weekend.
-Mario and Lewis, awesome teammates you each played really really well. Mario keepin us nice and rested with some OCV’s and Lewis keepin us alive (that perfect on Face was dope, really close match up until that point).
-Team Canada, you are all monsters and it was great to play some of you in casuals. Shout outs to Adam B for droppin by for casuals on Saturday, and AneursymX for playing most of Sunday with us, good times.
-Nica KO, glad to finally meet you, you are certainly a beast and I learned a lot from casuals with you. Good stuff in teams and congrats. Hopefully I’ll see you at NEC or another EC tournament.
-Humbag’s team, I was so rooting for you vs. Issei, that could have been a great upset. It was especially funny when they looked at Justin and said “We fucked up.” Good stuff regardless and it was good hangin again James.
-Keninblack, good meeting you dude, keep it up. Study 3s in college, its the only major worth taking! Good to see such interest in the game from someone as young as yourself, and I was certainly impressed, you definitely have some skill with those red parries and combos, just keep working on your match ups and fundamentals and you’ll go far. 3s4Lyfe.
-Ghaleon, good stuff, hard to run a tournament and play that well so props for that. That aegis flying the opposite direction was some bullshit and you know it lol. Thanks again for such an awesome time.
-MrGone and co., fun times partying with you, sucks you couldn’t make it in time for the tourney but we got some good matches in. Shoutouts especially to The Kraken for being amazing pirate liquor.
-Flexo/Christian/TvC players, I’m so glad you encouraged me to learn the game because it really is a ton of fun. I’m glad I managed to impress you with my play, and I only want to get better, even if it is dying. RyRy you are a beast, some of those mixups and combos were ridiculous, shame I didn’t play you more in casuals. Frankie, hope I can see you at an Indiana tournament or something and we can get more games in, good shit. Keits, I hate your Blade, soooo annoying! Thanks for your help and for shootin the shit all weekend, hope your foot gets better. Kurasa, thanks for the combo help and your ability to play like every character in that game is impressive. Those PTX throw loops were hilarious.
-Party Peoples at Red Roof, it was on and Kraken on Saturday. Waking up drunk at 9 Sunday to stumble into McDonalds was great. Also Cane’s is the shit when you’re wasted. Glad we didn’t get in any trouble for the noise complaints lol, good ass times.
