That being said, between Capcom not releasing HDR in Japan (PS3/360/Arcade) and SRK bans on select tournament footage, the HDR community vid footage collection is getting hosed.

Say what? Other than EVO videos why would SRK ban tournament footage? They are going to be up publicly on http://frame-advantage.com/ in a week or so. I dont think they have a policy against it.

I always thought DGV could play on par with Daigo. I did an Al Bundy fist pump when DGV landed his patented 6-hit super crossup near the end.

Yep, me too. I was like “Now THAT’S the DGV that thrashed my ass!” :lol: Tho I won 2 matches out of 10, it was still a thrashing. 
No, no, I actually (wrongfully) thought that he could get banned or whatever for posting these results. I assumed it applied to all major events and not just Evo. But I also said in my post that I was uncertain, so I’m free of all liability…

EDIT: My reaction when I played my first match against DGV was quite funny. He thrashed me hard…I just kept saying “WHO THE FUCK WAS THAT? I NEVER HEARD OF HIM ON SRK, WTF!!!”.

Daigo usually uses brown ryu from what I understand. Yet DGV kept picking brown ryu.
Ken, seeing the footage and having played the games, what are your thoughts on how it broke down?
What would you change about your game or focus on vs. Daigo for the next time?
How does Daigo’s Ryu play different from your Ryu, Choi’s Ryu, Afro’s Ryu, Valle’s Ryu, etc?
It had too many threads it would fit into, plus to bury it in a thread would not get it the shelf space I think many of those interested would see.

He performed pretty damn well in casuals and the 3v3 considering he wasn’t near optimal ability because he wasn’t even close to comfortable playing on stick, every round he would switch positions but it looks like he found what works for him.

That is the shittiest quality upload I’ve ever seen. The damn video pauses every 10 seconds, but yet, the timer keeps running. Bullshit.
That it is because it was the recorded stream, which did that.
