I don’t mean to sound like this is a HUGE X factor…but if Cvs2 tourney’s are gonna be held, I will definitely be coming to the get togethers’ more often.
Not because it’s Cvs2…but it gives me something to look forward too other then getting slaughtered at Marvel. I’d go to the meetings whenever I can…but the thing is, that it’s just hard for me to get down there…I dunno, for some reason Cvs2 really gives me that extra motivation.

When ever I talked to him on AIM. I’d mention it (sometimes even not mentioning)
And he’d rant for like 25 minutes how much he fucking hates CvS2.

Haha. CVS2 by a landslide. I would prefer GGXX:AC over 3s any day, though. It’s a game that every kid and their mom plays in Japan, and all the Japanese guys I play against up north slaughter me. Maybe the Seattle scene could flourish and represent yet another game at Evo.
BTW- They’re putting a GGX cab in the Bellingham Tilt. I know, it’s super old. Still, it’s a step forward.

I’ve been looking at the ugly PS2 version the whole time.
The only reasong I like CvS2 : SNK’s side of it. Sure they nerfed but they look pretty.
I’m not upset that CvS2’s in the lead honestly. Kinda surprised, but not upset. I think it’s funny that 3S got that many votes considering the fact that I think there was about 11, 12 people in that ONE 3S tourney we had during season one. With PDX making up like 1/4th of that tourney.
Gah. Maybe next time. Sig other is feeling kinda down. Last thing she needs is me saying SEE YAH IMA GO PLAY VIDEOGAMES BE HOME 5AM MAYBE.
Next time, though, I’ll do my best to attend.

GGXX:AC is definitely played a lot…but not as much as the Gundam game 
I think there are definitely 3s players, and that it would stay if we could get some organization. I think the problem is that everyone is so jaded or have simply given up and assume a scene is impossible. I think the same could’ve been said for st, but I think it’s here to stay now that there are even gatherings outside of zach’s house for it as well.
If we can somehow get 3s going I think it will become progressively more popular. If another 3s event is held I will do everything in my power to go and try to get as many others to go as I can.
BTW, mike how the fuck do you get to zach’s anyway? I thought you didn’t have a car. Is there a bus that run’s close by there?
In all honesty, I go every blue moon. Do you remember the guy that I come into your store with every now and then? He used to play games with me as well…he’s got a car and loves hanging out with the people there.
I’m way past my prime of gaming. Even though I was never too great at the games, I always had fun…I remember playing you at 3s when at college…God that was some funny shit cuz I was SO out of practice (only times I would play games was during our plays).
Anyways, there ARE buses that go right over there, however it takes about 45 minutes to get there. I used to do it for tournaments…the 535 bus (sound transit) goes all the way to bellevue transit center (right next to the old lanwerx).
Other then that, I normally hitch a ride with someone if they’re down to chill. OR, I borrow my parents car.
So, who will run the cvs2 tourney? I guess the same could be asked for ST and marvelicious.
I’ll offer to run ST, and I would hesitantly run Marvel and CvS2 if no one else steps up
ST should be alright. MVC2 has already shattered the life and dreams of Keith, so I don’t know if you want to take that risk. Marvel is that serious.

Well, I was talking to Frank about the CvS2 being in the season and he said that he would be willing to run CvS2. Also he suggested that we play CvS2 on the ps2 since it’s the evo tourney standard and I totally agree with that. About Marvel, since Keith is no longer running it, I guess you can count me in for running it then. All I would need is the brackets and someone to help me with the money because let’s face it, black people aren’t good at math.
