That suggestion makes a lot of sense as there are hardly any people that play BOTH Marvel and ST. I like it! Maybe have the third tourney be the one that starts at 11? What do people think?

I play Marvel and ST. I play everything except loli games. I think you would get a really good showing for cvs2, because it still relies on the basics and still provides people with more advanced mechanics/options not available in ST.

I also would like to second the suggestion of having ST start at the same time as marvel. I simply cannot keep attending tournaments that start past midnight. I’m too old

How about Hyper Street Fighter Alpha?
I’m serious. This is something as close to new as we are gonna get. It’s Alpha but with scores of options.
For example:
Choice between Alpha 1,2,2G and 3. The usual X,C,V-ism, then there’s the hidden but well-known-tourney-legal isms. Green(Darkstalker’s chain combos, pushblock), Blue(SF3), Pink(CPS1 chain combos, massive damage) Red( characters have their shit from other games Ken has moveset from VS games.

THose not so secret but tournament legal ism’s are just too ridiculous and one sided. The main stream ism’s can’t handle them.

It may be important to keep in mind that CvS2 tournaments take a lot longer to run than tournaments for other games.
Well if Zach can actually put CvS2 on a cabinet then it would be possible to run 3 tournaments at the same time (yes CvS2 on one cabinet would take eons to complete, but as the other tournaments advance we can then have access to the other TV’s to finish that one off) do people actually use the Marvel cabinet upstairs for tournament play? From the past tournaments that i entered i’ve never had to have a match on there. If not, doesn’t Zach also have a 3s game for cabinets too?

For cabinets, I have MvC2 x 2, 3S, ST, CvS2 (currently non-functional due to power issue), VF4: Evo, and XvSF.
