Saequo and everyone else plz stop calling me Mango. It makes me sound like a fruit and is very demeaning. If you want you can call me Mag for short, but it’s not that hard to add two more letters to spell Magno.
Im very surprised over all this drama unfolding around the Socal team. I agree that Flush and ll.nd should be on the team for sure. DevilChrist, since you feel so strongly about all this, I would like to hear who you even think should be Socal’s team captain? Perhaps everyone else besides you would unanimously agree that Flush is the most appropriate choice. I have no problem admitting that Kbeast is the best man for the job to lead Norcal to victory. I agree with Saequo that the 5 best Socal players are already acknowledged, and the the tryouts are merely just a consolation.
And now I am super stoked that there will be a Midwest team present! 5v5v5 get hype! Kurasa, I’ve got you in my sights!
I honestly dont care about this anymore, No one listened to me. So I am just doing qualifiers to get my spot. I was just irritated that people think Flush should decide when other people have opinions as well. Rotan and I tried but no one listened to us and refused so were doing qualifiers.
Eh, I did want to just to build what I thought was an obvious team, but at this point majority is clearly on the other side so I’m just going to go with the flow. Either way, the situation here is getting pretty bad so I’m basically avoiding getting caught up in it all. I may have had a different opinion about the team situation but I’m not willing to get in an argument about it.
So hows Norcal Coming? Ive been training IDK if Ill get a spot but Im trying to go to SCR and if needed I can be a NC backup = 0

Also, just to clear up any misunderstanding, this is NOT scheduled for a 5v5v5 event, it is strictly a Cali battle. Anything else will be considered on the side.
I was wondering how Midwest got involved in the Cali battle haha. Side money matches I hear? YEAH!!!
Are we going to form a best of Cali if we play against Midwest or are we going to stay as NorCal/SoCal when we play them?
I think we would probably have the same teams when we play Midwest.
It might be best to just wait until then to decide who takes on additional teams (after the main team match ends), and in what form.

I was waiting for an announcement on the SoCalRegionals website, but nothing happened. Given that its only a week away, its better to throw this last piece of info out.
For the Team that wins the TvC 5v5 @ SCR, those five team members will get a free copy of MvC3when it comes out! Hope this is a bit of incentive to head out to Burnt Toast 3 for qualifiers =)

Team SoCal has been formed!
At Burnt Toast III, 8 players fought for the three opens spots to join RoyalFlush and ll.nd on Team SoCal…
And the three players now a part of Team SoCal (in order of the their point rankings in the round robin tournament) are: Big Daddy Chris (21 points; perfect score), Tronzilla666 (20 points), and Truegamer (15 points)!!!
Truegamer tied with La(Rence) and Rotanibor (all had 15 points), so they fought out another round robin with Truegamer earning more wins. Other players who participated were Jint, Rayzyrbyrn, and JCPerfect.
Congrats to the people who’ve made it onto Team SoCal! You guys earned your spot, and I saw some interesting matches during our psuedo-qualifer tourney. Thanks again to Rayzyrbyrn for hosting it at his Burnt Toast tourney, and another thanks to Tournament Legacy for being nice enough to lend us some TVs for it!
