I’ve been busy with stuff today, but I will say this: THERE WILL BE A QUALIFIERS AT RAYZYRBYRN’S TOURNAMENT.
Tron has been doing well lately in tournaments, but overall in past tournaments (not just recent tournaments post-EVO) is very inconsistent and has no right to declare himself in top 3. He and everyone else will have to play for their spots at the qualifier.
Dude seriously Royal umm no. Your playing in qualifiers as well with ll.nd. Were going to be fair! Yeah of course in the past tournaments post EVO I was not too solid but I have had more experience and doing well recently. Saequo you obviously missed some tournament posts. I got 3rd as a WNF random tourney, 3rd and a bi weekly. I got 1st in a RR which Royal and Rotan could not attend but it was a biweekly. I was placing 8th in some tourneys before EVO.
Royal and LL.ND have no right to be in charge of this and I think I been doing pretty solid lately so you should be not deciding.
We are going to decide as a whole because it is ridiculous. I swear Flush has some secret grudge on me thinking I am not good.
I agree we should do qualifiers, so I suggest go with either plan for the 3 spots:
The next FFA biweeklies(10/17, 10/30) plus burnt toast 3(10/23) as qualifiers for each spot.
Or run qualifiers for the next 3 Sundays(or Saturdays if that works out better) at FFA(10/17, 10/24, 10/31).
I don’t know who our 5th is going to be, but our 4th is most likely going to be GCYoshi, the best ptx ever.
Ok, so qualifiers it is! I would prefer to just hold it at BT if possible, and decide based on placing there, because it is next to impossible for me to go to airdashers because of work, that’s why I’m usually not there, that way I het a fair shot as well!
Tron: We are friends, but I have no grudge against you. If I had a grudge against you, I would openly slander you in every which way that I could. I am better than this. You can say all you want, but you don’t have a proper say with your performance level. I really hate it when people put words in my mouth without the proper evidence or justification.

ll.nd and I performed very consistently and I think others will agree with this. Only Tron believes we should play our spots, but it won’t be necessary. Depending on what type of tournament this is (round robin or double-elimination), ll.nd and I do not need to add our names to the players who need to fight for these spots because it’s about everyone else who is fighting to secure these three remaining spots.
Anyone that I believe belongs to the SoCal TvC crew has a chance to fight for these remaining spots at Rayzyrbyrn’s Burnt Toast tournament on Oct. 23rd. The players that should fight for these 3 spots to represent SoCal are: Big Daddy Chris, Rotanibor, Tronzilla666, Rayzyrbyrn, Jint, La(Rence), Truegamer (if he attends), Phampy (depending on alliance).

The way I thought this out was that qualified players would be banned in the following tournies to give everyone a better shot. I mentioned Saturdays cause I know some ppl can’t make airdashers. Might be flawed thinking, but w/e you guys can decide.
Chill out, man. While you feel it is unfair for me and flush to take a spot just cause of our tourney performance/placings, you can’t deny flush deserves a lock in. That said, if you guys feel strong about it; I’ll step down from my spot and play for it like everyone else.
No one gets a lock in dude, Everyone plays. If Ed is consistent then he can prove it again. Everyone has to play because since you guys are doing a horrible job handling this as it is, it is only fair. Ed has his grudge on me on performance levels which is stupid because CLEARLY I have been up in top 3 consistently and one tourney 4th. Maybe out of those 5 tourneys it is not enough for Ed since by the way we are near SCR. We need the recent strong players. Just trying to point out Ed is blind! Ill chill out when Ed agrees to me being 3rd on SoCal or everyone plays. Now if you see where I am coming from.

I feel others players can better represent us, but you just want to say that you’re right. You are not third in SoCal, but definitely top 10. You’re good at this game, but I just don’t think you’re as good as you say you are and that your lack of humble attitude discredits you with every post you make regarding this topic.

People place higher than you all the time, one tourney you get second and now you are top 3??? When all of the real players are there you get below them (most of the time) That is all they are saying. You just have not proven yourself and have been playing since CGoH, while Big Daddy Chris and Rotan have proven themselves as top 3 contenders with less time on the game. (as I know it)
Just be glad tey are letting you play and not just taking Truegamer Rotan and Big Daddy Chris like they should.

Actualy that is how you guys should play this out. Have long sets for the spots. Like first to 7, see who is really good and who can actually adapt better. You guys only have like 5 poeple(other than the top 2 which are lockins) that are really going to give norcal a run so just be real and have those 5 people play long sets against each other and see the margin of victory and go from there.
No one has anything against you, (or at least I do not see it) they just want to win, and when you are going up against Phampy and kbeast (mango kinda) you have got to be on point. Rotan and Truegamer are more on point than you are. Just facts.

I will come to agreement doing this qualifier at Rayzrs even though I highly disagree with it. Ed can have a lock but I feel he should be playing too. Rayzr we can do a MM for Saequo. Also thinking I am not on point is really funny. Are you talking about on point with like characters in your face or solid because Blade can zone and rush. I have been pretty on point with Blade and Morrigan.
It wasn’t even ll and flush that decided their lockins, we decided as a whole! I still feel they should stay and the rest of us fight for it! It wouldn’t be hard, we just either have a tourney where top 3 placers get the spots or an RR like originally thought of and highest scores get them! I’m even down with doing long sets like Saequo said! I don’t care really! There’s 3 spots open and I’m more than confident in my abilities to take one since I know I’ve been getting better and better since Evo & I know others will agree! So, i’ll just prove it during quals, simple as that!
Alright lets do a long set and a tourney for the top 3 spots. Sounds fair. I am not irritated anymore.

The way I see it, you want your absolute best players on the team…PERIOD. Pride has nothing to do with this. If A is better than B, then A takes the spot. Making Royal, Carlos, and Fernando play for the spot is ludicrous. They are your best men. I would happily play for keeps 1 v 5 against Team SoCal sans Ed/Los/Fern.
But real talk dudes, put your pride aside and just figure out the final 2 with a RR. Award points for wins and make the people playing for the slot face ALL of SoCal.
