Things will probably get better when they stop messing around and stop taking unnecessary risks with it. Stupidity on some people’s part are preventing them from completely nipping it in the bud, but it’s not too late to get this under control.
Still sucks for people who go through it and actually survive it. Chronic inflammatory conditions and increased vision problems doesn’t sound fun at all.

While I respect the concern this latest dance with Ebola has produced, Ebola has been around for decades killing people, why now is there a fear for a substantial wave of death? Because it’s “here” versus thousands of miles away? Don’t underestimate the potential of such a virus to kill but don’t fall for the flavor of the month, either. Guess broadcasting Russia eventually marching troops into the Ukraine and gearing up the second cold war/WW3 ran out of steam for now. Now it’s time to discuss a virus, depending on contracting the most lethal strain, leaving you with a 90% fatality probability. Seems like yesterday we were discussing Iran closing down the Strait of Hormuz and virtually every source of crude oil we as a country receive coming to a grinding halt, killing our society. With flu season right around the corner, I’d run with the Ebola angle too and hard, especially mentioning, “flu like symptoms” every four or five sentences while discussing it. Does anyone else feel this has a tad bit of a distraction angle to it?
Be cautious, be informed, but sometimes you have to carry on with your business. You have a right to self preservation and preparing for worst case scenario but you can’t run yourself ragged worrying if everyone else involved in saving the world is going to drop the ball and damn us all. My local news station here in Jacksonville FL is reporting on a daily basis someone taken to the hospital for “flu like symptoms” testing negative or not warranting a test by CDC standards. I think a lot of us have taken this hysteria hook, line, and sinker a little too hard.
