Scientists Say Air Pollution in China resembles a Nuclear Winter, Growth of Food Supply Threatened

People gonna be killing their brothers and sisters now.

You’re looking at the future. A bloated and inefficient pan-global Asian empire sucking Earth totally dry is how the world will end.

and if we stopped buying things from them, their whole country would become a other africa

pretty much everybody that’s been to china remarks about how bad the air quality, even compared to seoul where most people think it’s pretty bad already.

as far as chinese aggression goes, it’s rooted in the idea that other countries are too small or uninterested in war not “true” might. i’m not sure about their air force, but their navy is non-existent compared to every other major world power.

their air force is pretty weak compared to america. Even if we did go to war with china it wouldnt be a ground war, it would be nothing but dropping bombs and shooting at them with the navy.

I would hope we learned our lesson about ground wars in Asia.

so basically, as shitty as these chinese are, they are nowhere nearly as shitty as americans. because their people wouldn’t fight unjust wars to make money for bankers.

thanx man, i see them a little less shitty again, can’t nobody beat americans when it comes to being the most useless braindead and generally shitty people in the world.

the chinese would revolt because like 80% of them live in absolute poverty, barring that they’d gladly go to war with anybody in the name of the han people.

wars cost money, if there was a war we would stop buying everything from them. They would become a very poor country

So out of curiosity, I haven’t had time to really dig into this, any idea on how it would impact ‘our’ economy?

  • :bluu:

If China goes then it gives America a chance to improve its economy by actually putting its factories back in America.
So lets keep doing America’s secret plan of killing off China.

AMERICA! FUCK YEAH

not as bad as what would happen to chinas. If you watch the news and listen to politicians they even say china is scared that america one day will no longer buy products from them.

Their way of life has been much more costly due to the lack of human rights and environmental oversight. They’re basically the US without an EPA or any real in-house humanitarian aide.

A billion starving, angry people in 5 years from now, whose government possesses nuclear weapons definitely affects us all. The Chinese government could give 2 shits about their own people, but they definitely care about national pride.

This is the same corrupt government that was turning US citizens away at airports and sending them back to America in fear of the swine flu, while allowing factories and hospitals to dump raw sewage and used medical equipment into the Yangtze River.

is there a statistic on how many chinese ppl moved to another country allready ?

I was there with that Femto fag around 2011. Qingdao is probably one of the nicest places in China, at least when I went in around 2001. It was all beautiful beaches, and not the shitty overpopulated crap with far too many cars on the road that you see in shanghai, guangzhou, hong kong, etc.

China’s fucked. But this is what happens when you let rampant corruption and unchecked industry happen. Sad thing is, it’s the commoners who will pay the price for what the ruling and corporate classes have done here.

I saw a report on Anderson Cooper back in 08 maybe about this river that ran thru a small rural town in China. The river was beyond polluted by a local metal factory. Because of the pollution, about half the town’s residents died of cancer and various pollution-based illnesses. When the remaining residents tried to sue the company that polluted the river, the company paid the equivalent of about $200 per person who’d died. $200 PER DEATH! These are the people we buy goods from.

Anybody have any idea how different global carbon emissions and etc would be if first world countries actually massively participated in light industry again? Where if we made all of our own stuff, for the most part, instead of just heavy industries? I bet an electronics shop worth of stuff would cause at least a little less pollution if it was made at home.

Good ole 'Murica pretty much turned China into slaves for capitalism
Its like Killzone with how the ISA sent people to work on uninhabitable planets in coal mines and then the Helghast were born

Some of the beaches are pretty bad now, looks like tourist traps with crap all over them. I hear the one near Laoshan is still pretty good, but haven’t been out.

Last summer, the beach was horrendous. They had an outbreak of algae and dead seaweed along the beachline, and all you could smell when you got near them was rotting eggs.

But there’s some nice areas in Qingdao still. But the population has skyrocketed since you’ve been here. Nothing at all like the big ones, but for the area, it’s pretty cramped. It’s a huge, complicated game of frogger around Licun.
