School of K'un-Lun - The Iron Fist Combo Thread

Yeah I got the Chi cancel on the first one and it was still short on damage, though I’m not sure by how much. On the second one I got it eventually and the damage total came to 686 iirc. Though a very practical variant of that is to do:

Throw, :qcb::m:, :qcb::h:, :dp::l:slight delay:atk::atk: and then the rest.

Costs you like 6k damage but it’s like 100x easier.

Edit: Oh yeah, and I’ll upload the vids later tonight after I’m finished recording some things!

Edit: Fuck, I missed out the second to last Rekka on the second combo! FFFFUUUUUUUUU

Found this. Strongest bnb flowchart. The sweep into Dual Palm might not work on some characters so be aware.

Gonna have it up on the main post later.

It’s too bad it’s just under 850k and can’t kill Vergil, Magneto, and the likes.

How much is it exactly?

846,800. And I mashed my life out of it lol.

To be honest it doesn’t matter anyway. You will shave off like 10k just playing the neutral game and it will kill 850k characters unless you hit them completely clean at the start of the round. This doesn’t even factor in assists to extend combos which will easily bring up the numbers.

Yeah damage is damage and I can’t be too stingy with meter anyways.

902,900 starting w/ red, for one meter. Pretty good if you ask me. Plus by this point you could DHC cuz it builds a ton of meter.

I’ve had a variant of this combo for a long time:

s.M, s.H, f.H > qcf+L, qcf+M, dp+L > s.H, c.H, f.H > jump > j.H, j.S > c.M, s.H, c.H, f.H > qcf+L, qcb+H, qcb+S > dash back > b.H, qcb+L, qcf+H, qcf+S > qcb+M, qcf+H, qcf+S > dp super

Does about 806,500 and is really consistent. You have all day to dash backwards.

There’s one more variant I do :

s.M, s.H, f.H > qcf+L, qcf+M, dp+L > s.H, c.H, f.H > jump > j.H, j.S > c.M, s.H, c.H, f.H > qcf+H, qcb+M, dp+L > qcb+M, qcb+H, qcb+S > dash back > b.H, qcb+L, qcf+H, qcf+S > dp super

Does about 842,500. It’s pretty consistent. The only hard part is the dash back cuz the qcb+L misses sometimes.

Could anyone write the inputs of that combo of iron fist with spencer in the corner to pull out the impact palm loop with strange? I mean the setup.

A Japanese player compiled a bunch of Iron Fist BnB’s and air conversions. I can’t read Japanese, so if anyone who can, please give us the details.
Some really cool jump loops at ~4:20

I can’t go into specifics, but the gist of it is just saying how many meters it builds, if you’re using red / green / red + green and their damages and meter gains. It’s mostly describing when you would use those combos and the problems you may run into with them, but they are all pretty self explanatory.

Hey guys, decided to pick up Iron Fist (I thank the Ultimate Spider-Man for it) but I’m having some problems with him.

Having a hard time connecting the s.M and or s.H after Dragon’s Touch (qcf.M) > s.H > f-H > j.H > j.S

Trying to delay the j.S as long as I can, but I can’t seem to get it down all the time. Should I be jumping up or towards them?

Also need help with the slide heel timing. Can get it after ending an air combo but never off a throw.

Throws are tricky because they’re height dependent. You have to be quite low otherwise don’t bother.

As for qcf.M, do s.H, c.H, f.H > j.HS > whatever. I think you need the c.H to help.

For the 1st Bnb Combo, after the mini-jump loop, I’m having trouble connecting the qcb H with the qcf H, any tips?

It’s just a slight delay. Depending on the height of when you did the QCB H (Twin Snakes or whatever) you can do the QCF H a bit earlier or alittle delayed. Like I said it’s just a slight delay and I understand that after the jump loop the opponent can be at different heights so you have to know that if you see that they are higher than usual then you’ll have to wait just a bit. Of course you could always just do QCF L instead of QCB H. A small damage difference but very consistent. Hopefully that helps.

How do you get the backdash b.h after rising fang?
Because even though I get it every time lotus whip (or whatever qcb :l: is) doesn’t connect. They’re too low.

Try : qcf L > qcb H > qcb S

That should give you enough height to backdash H > qcb L

I meant after :qcb::m: :qcb::h: :qcb::s: but I got it. It’s very fast from :b::h: to :qcf::l: if you don’t cancel the :qcb::h: well enough.

Lol Timtim it’s alittle confusing reading your posts with all these rekkas. Like what Lamuness said, it’s recommended if you do that series to get height for you to dash out and do b.H xx QCB L (Dragon’s Tail) xx QCF H. If you’re OTG’ing them into Rising Fang then it’s a lot more strict. In fact I would almost recommend that you use sweep into b.H because they’re so low. Or you could use b.H into QCF M (Dragon’s Touch) which is very consistent but not optimized in damage. Hope that helps.
