Can we get an official word on the SNK tournament games that are going to be ran (heres hoping for Last Blade 1…2 is garbage)? I of course will have every fighter available to use for possible set up weather it’s on my ps2 or laptop.
Considering I still plan on coming to this tournament.

Part2: Yes, that is correct. We’ve had 3s on a Friday night in previous years. In fact, that was the normal time until recently.
We had EX2+ last year and only 6 people signed up for it and half of them said they’d prefer EX3.
Aside from that I can almost garuntee that we’ll have more sign ups for EX3.
its better than cramming all the huge games into one day. it was pretty chaotic on that saturday last year, for us. im liking friday. spreading it out more

I just don’t understand what that is Keith. It’s not like it takes more skill to play EX3 and there is way more broken stuff in EX3 than two. And tech throwing is simple rediculous in that game. I don’t get it!

For the players, and Sabre and Sirlin never played the game before. Josh hadn’t played it in years and was surprised he even remembered the excels for Rosso. I suck on stick but gave a decent fight with 4 characters, and Justin and Jeron mopped it up with basic SF skills.

digimonemperor: I’m not having anyone run any SNK stuff this year because it involves us using TVS and kicking people off TVS, and to be honest, even though we were nice enough to ALLOW SNK tourneys to be run, too many games are held up because people are playing them, won’t get off the TVs, etc. We definitely have enough to worry about this year.
Bob Washington: We will have GGAC at MWC. I am waiting for the official announcements to be over, though.
It’s crazy, like unheard of…that EX3 would be ran OVER KOF…unbelievable.
I mean don’t get me wrong, anyone that knows me knows I love unpopular fighting games. But this just surprises even me…

And not only would it pull similar numbers, it’s also the precursor to the new Street Fighter EX 4 on test in Japan right now. I mean, Street Fighter 4.
There will be room for casuals arcade. Casual console if we have room. A couple of TVs or so.
As much as we would like to run 102812981 tourneys, it’s just not possible, and Sabre and I are not going to kill ourselves. I think we spread it out quite nicely, and we have time to actually get to eat and sleep.

Im actually glad that 3s will begin friday. The sooner the better lol, i hate sitting around for a day and a half waiting 
Just put 3s on console… the sticks last year were completely horrible, makes people not want to come support, some people actually play 3s on pad…
As much as I agree with you I dont think itll happen unless the sticks/cabs are not in working order.
It’s going to be arcade. Sticks were fine. Just one cabinet had an issue (the large one) because the stick was not centered. This was ongoing. We are going to use Perfect 360s this year, so you have MONTHS to practice on them if you decide to come.
We’ve already went over this, please read the thread again. If you want to play 3s on pad at an EVO qualifier, there are other EVO qualifiers to do so. This is the ONLY arcade tournament in the USA for players that can “play” arcade, so for all 450094983498 console tourneys you get to go to, we get to have all of our 1 to look forward to on this side of the country.
Humbag: Thanks, we’re fine with running the tourney with our staff so far. We just need the TVs this year, and can’t do this SNK thing like last year. There are other reasons as well, but logistically, we have other stuff we need to keep track of.
