I understand you concerns and they have validity to them. However I’m a down to earth person. I’m aslo human. All that professional blah blah, I save that for when the get down gets down. When I am on forums and stuff like that I really don’t take anything said seriously including myself at times.
Now most people would say but if you want to get the respect…well let me cut you off right there. As I said before…I don’t think you understand. Empire Arcadia does not seek the approval of anyone here on this site in terms of being liked or respected. We as Empire have a mission to do here, and for what its worth, that basically what we are here to do. We’ve tried blending in, and to be honest with you it doesn’t matter who’s fault it is. It just doesn’t work out and I am fine with that. Nothing big, I can accept reality.
In person I can say for the most part many find me very real and down to earth and cool. I respect everyone and actually do not expect the same from others. I can accept that. So long as no one tries to disrespect me and what not, no problems.

Ricky is here in NYC and tomorrow him, Marvelous and I will all meet to have a indepth discussion about America’s chances. I’m going to tell you guys something. You do know that spliting the power in america is also another option? Allow me to explain it is actually a valid point. We can put all of our eggs in one basket and just say Ricky, Marvel and Pyro and that makes a Strong if not America’s strongest team. However you have Frankie, Flash, Henry, Watson and a few others that I am not even aware of as a whole can form two power house teams and give america two strong teams rather than one mega powerful team.
My point is how should America fight at SBO? Quality or Quantity?

TFGM, you know we’ve talked and I respect you. I know you’re an intelligent person with good intentions. But let’s be honest, there are a few things that need to be settled here.
-What has the Empire really done for the fighting game community in the past few years? Besides the initial “hate” that pumped people up for about a year to “beat the Empire,” there really hasn’t been anything else. I haven’t seen any major tournaments organized or sponsored by Empire to my knowledge, and I haven’t seen any official Empire sponsored arcades, or anything else for that matter, to promote the scene. All I see is a “Hail Empire” website and a bunch of broken promises about a MASSIVE EAST COAST MAJOR that seems to keep getting pushed back more and more. It seems like the only way to get any help from the Empire is to JOIN the Empire and then beg to get tickets to something…something that I’m not willing to do and I’m sure there are a shitload of people who feel the same way.
-Also, recruiting a bunch of fools who just like to talk out of their butts isn’t a good idea. We get the picture, Empire likes to pretend they’re some massively important organization and talk like they’re in the middle ages. HAIL! But, to everybody else outside of Empire, it’s not cool. Maybe if the Empire were a little more organized and actually did less hailing and more constructive things besides holding puzzle game tournaments, people in the Street Fighter community wouldn’t make fun of you guys so much.
-Finally, grow up and act your age dood…chill out with the Empire gear, the power glove, and everything else. You would have been taken seriously 3 years ago if you just talked normally and didn’t act like a fool half the time. -
If you think Jeron beat me at NEC6, you’re right, and I gave him lots of props for that. But let’s face facts: NEC was not a major and I used it as training and to prove something to myself. Ask anybody who fought me who I used, and you’ll get one single answer: Vega. I played Vega through the entire tournament as a personal challenge, and I learned a lot of things. Come the next major, you won’t be seeing me pick one character and challenging myself like that…but let’s face it, I had an express ticket to the winners finals with JUST Vega, and even then it went down to the very last game both times I lost to Jeron. I even fought people who blatantly counter picked me, including Julian and JMS, and I still got 2nd.
So say what you will about Jeron getting the best of me, and running shit back. If you really want to see what I’m all about, I will play for real from here on out at every tournament. But I’ve never been about winning, just learning and having fun and having great matches. I can honestly say that I can think of THREE characters I could have picked and beated Jeron clean sweep, but I didn’t want to do that. Instead the ST tourney at NEC was close as hell and everybody had fun.
I respect you, but keep talking the way you are and you might find that you’ll end up with the kind of ST champ that nobody wants: a cocky asshole who just plays to win and pretty much runs through everyone with no regard for the game. I’ll counter pick every match and see how everyone likes that from now on. And I would love to have you send the best the Empire has to offer to try and stop me, because it isn’t 2003 anymore my friend!
As a forum scrub , i would love to see US kick some ass. So, if you can join together to make a top team, that’s the way to go. It would be better to stick alll the strong players on one team, to try to ensure a possible victory…
But what do I know…
In the end, just remember that we’re all here rootin’ for whoever-the-fuck wins whatever drama turns out to be the SBO drama winner. Since that is what it appears to be.
In any case, I just hope that all the top beasts are alll on the same team, as I think that that would give us the best chance. Fuck this east west bullshit, we have to show that we know what’s up! I know we North Americans know how to play, we just have to prove it!
Fuck all this team, pride crap… the japs own this tourney EVERY TIME, and I KNOW there are crazy US players, but people concentrate on bullshit like this?
Make all the SRK scrubs proud and send over some cohesive teams , that put aside all the petty crap and give us something to root for. I know you guys can tangle with the japs, We all have mad faith in you guys.
I mean, fuck, we’re betting on you guys, you know that right? 
It would only make sense to stick all the dominators on the one team, and to to have a backup.
But, who am I to say, I just hope you guys can wade through all this horseshit that seems to come up every year and remember that the REAL point of the whole affair is to show that you’re not some second-rate copycat scrubs and deserve some respect as top players. Let’s get some nationialsim on the go, and sacrifice whatever local pride to show those nips that we’re nuthin’ to fuck with!
