SB4: NEW CRACK CITY- DAIGO VS. JUSTIN! Oct. 16-18, 2009 - Columbus, OH

isnt the stream supposed to be on by now or did i miss something?

Whats hilarious to me is the same type of people who are bitching about not getting the Daigo vs. Justin streamed are the same ones who will be bitching about the stream skipping/becoming choppy and making fun of people on camera. They aren’t grateful and don’t understand that the SB staff doesn’t owe them shit and isn’t in it for the money, the entire event is for the community and getting the juiciest 1% of it requires you to be active in it (good incentive imo).

You forgot how to read.

First SF4 event: Team Tournament Oct 16 9:00 PM CST (Taken directly from the FADC website)

I lol @ the people that won’t get to see Justin vs Daigo live. Nothing feels the same when you watch it from your PC. You either experience firsthand or you don’t experience it at all. You don’t get atmosphere with that stream. Unless you minimize IE and put a wallpaper up of of a stadium crowd.

wow im fried :smokin: i thought it was friday :wow: thx lol

If they were doing it for the community they would be showing us their best match not saying fuck u u cant see it if u come u can HAHA their just filling their own agenda and trying to fill thier greedy pockets has nothing to do with the community if it did they would be showing the match but their not right ? shows how much they care about the community i could care less if theres a stream or not but getting to see two of the best go at it is way better than an online tournament

True, but with all the people inside that room, I bet it’ll be toasty warm. Hopefully people will shower beforehand  I’ll probably leave my jacket in the car and run inside since I doubt it’ll be cold in Momo’s

True dat…it’s going to be nice and warm with all of those bodies. Considering people took showers. None of that “but I SPRAYED AXE ZOMG!” Take a shower.

Anyone know what time SF4 Finals are scheduled for on Sunday?

Man… I was really excited about watching this and now I find out Justin vs Daigo isn’t going to be streamed. I’m a little disappointed at that decision but it’s your tournament and I hope you guys are successful.

I’m sittng 2 fee away from him as I type this… He’s already here mm people in marvel.

DAMN IT. I should have just driven there tonight. Tell Fugee to answer his damned phone.

lol. This is the Neverending Story.

Surprised no one has said “Shut up 09er”

They just don’t understand the way the community runs things, and by community, I don’t mean the ones that just joined because SF4 came out, because majority of them never get out and probably spend majority of their time playing online and only online and are also the ones that just talk major shit during streamed events. Yea, Evo is the biggest event of the year, but that doesn’t mean that SB is nothing compared to it. I honestly would’ve paid to watch Marvel at SB last year because in my opinion, that was way more entertaining than majority of all the Marvel I’ve seen that happened during past Evo events.

Think of it as going to a movie. You stay home, you get the commercial/preview/trailer for free. You come out, you get to see it all, cept you’re already getting more than you deserve as there probably shouldn’t be a stream to begin with. But when there’s free stuff, people just keep wanting more for free.

They’re not saying they want it for free. They’re saying “why cant we have it if we’re willing to pay?”. And the answer is “because that just isn’t an option right now”.

Well, SOME of them want it for free…

The only concern I can see here is that I am sure Momo’s has some kind of Fire Marshal occupancy level for the amount of people who are allowed to be within the venue. Are they sure they are not going to go over this amount with the amount of people that may be there? Just wondering.

Lastly, will there be other TVs in the venue that aren’t near the actual event that are broadcasting it somewhere else in the venue because I’m sure it will be so many people close to the TV and I don’t want to stand on a chair to see it.

are all times in the first post Central Time?

This has been addressed. Once the capacity is reached, people will be turned away.

Eastern Time.

I’m guessing Eastern Time.

Also…

I didn’t see any times listed in the original post.

So if we make the effort drive way out there hours and hours away get a hotel, etc. we could be turned away basically and not be able to watch the Justin Wong vs. Diago battle even though we made the effort to make it out there?
