Yea, Justin is cocky and when it’s Sanford vs Justin I want Sanford to win, but with Daigo it’s different. A lot of people are new to the scene so they don’t get what I’m talking about. I’m not talking about SRK join dates, what I’m talking about is actually even before SRK, back to SF2 days. The US keeps falling short to Japan. Yea, I have some favorite Japan fighting game players as well, but Justin vs Daigo today, I wanted Justin to win.
Whatever, posting with you guys seems pointless. I’m just some random old dude who has no idea what he’s talking about and knows nothing about the new gaming culture. Enjoy your XBOX lives.
Whoever was on SkiSonic’s account said he does have the console version and spends a lot of time in training mode, just he doesn’t get a lot of live practice against console chars.
Also, mad props to Joe for his showing at SB4. People continually bagged on him for being the weak link on the EC/EMP Arc team. But he came to SB4, placed in the money, and played Daigo very competitively in a match that Daigo himself admitted was his best match up.
Among all the Wong vs Umehara buzz,Joe played his best IV match so far.We all know that he’s not on the level of Mago, but the guy is improving and he can definitively become way better than he is currently. The guy is starting to justify his spot on the EC team, but he need to be more consistent.
there was a point where i thought that he was going to beat daigo. then daigo started to get pissed and dizzied sagat like 2-3 times.
mago and joe are my favourite sagat players. they both play the character in a different way to the norm, different from each other too.
the last two people joe has lost to are alex valle and daigo…like that’s something to be ashamed of lol. daigo has been raping mago for fun recently.
as for justin, his plan backfired. i think when he looks back on it…in a kind of weird way he will probably be happy he didn’t win with fei just because of all the shit that would be thrown at him how he didn’t win legit ect ect.
250 ppl in SF4. $10 an entry and they said all entry money went into the prize fund so a prize pool of 2500. That was on a 70/20/10 split, so winner took home $1750.
I think in hindsight (always a wonderful thing) Justin made a mistake in choosing Fei in the Winner vs Winner round.
He would have been better to used Balrog or Rufus and even if he lost he would have made it back to the final.
Then he could have sprung Fei taken the first set, reset, and gone into the 2nd set with momentum and not give Daigo time to go away and think about the Fei matchup.
