Really, well I didn’t see it as I wasn’t there. Every video I’ve seen of Daigo playing, he always throws in a LP/MP/HP into something else after the F+HP from what I remember. But really, people applauded? Anybody who plays Ryu knows that combo, and they should also know that it’s easy as hell to do.

I was talking about how you almost never see Daigo go for the easy F+HP into SRK link that every Ryu player does after a successful FA. Wa1nut said that he did it a bunch of times during the FT10 against Justin, which I didn’t see and people applauded him for it. Then I said what I said. I root for Daigo because he also makes me free money as well, and because he is still exciting to watch even though you know he is going to win (in US tourneys anyways) and the fact that he plays a very linear and generic character in pretty much every game he touches.
But I have nothing against Wong, nothing against his tournament choices, nor do I have the place to form an opinion about them anyways, which applies to every single other person in this thread. He just isn’t fun to watch to me, gameplay-wise, even with a diversified cast at his disposal, hasn’t been since he branched from Marvel.
