I think in hindsight (always a wonderful thing) Justin made a mistake in choosing Fei in the Winner vs Winner round.
He would have been better to used Balrog or Rufus and even if he lost he would have made it back to the final.

Then he could have sprung Fei taken the first set, reset, and gone into the 2nd set with momentum and not give Daigo time to go away and think about the Fei matchup.

Dont think justin beat daigo with boxer at all in the first to 10.

I am sure that neither Mago or Uryo or whoever else from Japan would of won.I am sure that Mago’s Sagat would of been crushed by Justin’s Long.Mago biggest strength is that he’s an execution god who’s gonna punish you 99,9% of the time with his upper into FADC into kick+ultra,but he can’t adapt that fast imo.He’s more like a student of the game,while Daigo is a natural genius at adapting and he will also punish you 99,9% of the time.

do you really think you can be like this just because you have skill and without any adapting skill…

instead of thinking about mago having trouble adapting to fei, you shjould think about wong havoing trouble adapting to a sagat whio is really using full potential of the character( with all respect american sagat deserve, there are far behind in this topic)

That my point mago s sagat is not about combo , he is about every thing.
I think bigger doference beween top japanese player and american one are here.

they are good in all aspect of the game, ground game, AA reaction , skill, gessing game.

many fight mago is just controling game with TS . and before you reach him, you already lose 30% of your life barre with cheap domage.

I hope mago can make it to evo, or at least than next time he got some first to 10 against wong or marn.

I really think mago doesn t have the respect he deserve in an international way, because here in japan, all player agree, he is a GOD…

sure he is uusing sagat so some people feel like, he just wins because of top tier character, but he manage to wins tougeki in cvs2 using honda…

What the guy is saying is Wong should have fought with Rufus or Balrog in the winners final, even if it meant taking a loss, banking on himself being able to fight his way to the Grand Final.

Either way Justin needed to beat daigo twice with fei. Daigo doesn’t feel momentum from other players. He didn’t really have time to think about the fei long matchup either, he went straight to playing Joe.

The thing that irritated me was:

1. Jwong was letting daigo jump in for free, daigo wasnt letting ANYONE jump in for free, wish he DP’d more often, looks like justin was outpoking him for the most part.
