Yeah, I’m sure that’s what he was going for. When was the last time anyone see Daigo go for just a SRK after the F+HP. Anyways, doing a c. HP or c.MP are very difficult 1 frame links. Nobody except the very best Ryu players try it. Hell, many of the very best Ryu players don’t even take the risk of trying it for the fear of punishment. For reference Daigo dropped that combo several times in the Evo finals against Justin.
Daigo the beast does it again, his ability to learn to fight Fei Long that fast was crazy, especially when everyone around him is screaming for JWong to win, must be distracting.
A single team in Marvel has more diversity and is more fun for me to watch than Sagat/Shotos in SF4.
Chaos Ken was great though.
Neither is Rufus’ s.lk -> s.hp link, but that thing is almost always money. And IIRC, the optional CW -> c.lp link is a 2-framer.

After Justin put Daigo in losers, Daigo just went absolutely nuts. I actually found the matches against Iloveujoe to be just as good as the grand and finals. He dizzied sagat, the character with the highest stun in the game, two or three times and just went all out. His adjustment to the fei long match was just the icing on the cake.
This guy is a true testament to how far you can take the game.
Good shit to Justin and Sanford too. Coming with the character diversity and knowledge.
