I think the most amusing thing about this was watching all the daigo fanboys letting all the tears flow while they called wong a cheater in the chat for picking a console character. This crying persisted until Daigo started adjusting better. Then when daigo finally won they did a complete 180 and start laughing at wong, and started spamming daigo in long paragraphs.

That’s the point I’m making. You can support both players, but you can’t disagree there’s a hell lot of Justin hate for no reason and Sanford hate for no reason and because people don’t know anything. Justin didn’t just pick Fei just to counter Daigo and the same goes for Sanford and Cammy. Justin actually wants to play Fei. Justin doesn’t know how to play Fei too good yet, yea, but eventhough Daigo doesn’t really know the match up that well Fei is still limited against Ryu.
Hell, when Shoto Fighter 4 just came out Sanford was even talking about how everyone in the EC was riding the Sagat/Ryu wagon. Thank Sanford and Justin for the diversity. I don’t know about you guys but there’s only so much I can handle as far as Sagat vs Sagat and Sagat vs Ryu matches go.

i know it was well within the rules and everything…and i am not saying he shouldn’t have done it, but you can’t help thinking justin kinda got what he deserved.
But not nearly as often and not nearly at clutch moments.
My opinion (again, I’m a lowly spectator) is that I enjoyed the match, but I think it’s just a tad bittersweet. I don’t mind the Fei Long pick at all, and the adaptation to him was great. But I think his Fei coulda/shoulda been better and it would’ve made for an even better match. It was very rare to see him drop any Rufus links, which was why he cruised through winners. To see so damned many missed c.lp and chicken wings followed up with throw attempts and reversals DPs was just kinda frustrating. All the legendary fundamentals in the world can’t make up for missing character-specific BnB combos like that.

Daigo plays on arcade viewlix cabinets, this was on PS3 with a a display I don’t know about.
