They are percentages of the pot. If there are 10 players in the bracket, $100 pot, 70 to first place, and 30 to second. Entry fee will be paid at the door. Venue fee is still pending, most likely going to be from 7-10 dollars a head.
I didn’t make a facebook group. Will consider it more based on success of first tourney.
So with injustice out today, is Regina playing it? or planning to play it I guess? It seems like a spiritual successor to MK, or just a successor given that its the same studio. I’ve been watching some footage and it looks better than I expected given that I never really liked MK.

Hopefully it attracts larger numbers but if not then at least it gives us a good idea if how many players we have in town.

I don’t get why you get so defensive. I don’t even really play competitively anymore. My point is; there ARE people that play for the competition. while YOU or foger DON’T play for this reason there are plenty of people who like the competitive aspect of playing in locals.

This, of course, makes sense, but using this logic to justify allowing Ric to be anywhere is ridiculous. It wouldn’t matter if it was a dude making top 8 at Evo, if they said the kind of stuff Ric said on SRK forums, they’d be banned from events. Yea this is just plain wrong. You don’t even know me. I haven’t even lived here for a year. I’ve lived in a lot of places where there is actual legitimate competition so excuse me if I’m not willing to accommodate psychopaths just to play people who evidently aren’t that good.
Personality matters. For example, before you made your atrocious personality evident I would have gladly driven down to Regina with my crew to support one of your events. (From what I understand this would have increased your attendance about 20%). Now that I know you wouldn’t be fun to hang out with, and that you’re not particularly good either, why would I waste my time and money? You guys are shooting yourselves in the foot.

Tournament is happening and nothing you say will do anything to stop it. Yes it is 20 and that is stupid, but oh well.
I don’t know where you got that impression I wanted to stop it…A lot of people in Sask seem to have really overactive imaginations. Is it something in the water? Should I not drink the water while I’m here? If you recall I came here in the first place wanting games with the existing players.

I was psyched that there was a tournament happening. Less psyched when I found out it was twenty dollars at a bad venue and definitely not coming when I found out Ric was welcome.
Seriously 20$ for a tournament at which 10 players would seem to be a blessing is insane. When I get out of my flat into my house I’ll open my doors to people from here. Heads up though, it will be a strictly no psychopath/idiots event, so attendance will likely still be weak

Sorry I misunderstood your intent. Only silly thing in our water here is fluoride. My intent with Ric is that, by restricting players there is no room for growth. I am well aware of all the awful things he has done and probably will continue to do but Dalton is right about one thing, he is not a problem in person for the most part.
It’s a shame jeet won’t show for the tournament…guess we’ll never know who he really is.

Why is everyone so outraged at a 10 dollar venue fee? What real tournament doesn’t have a venue fee? all the regina tourneys had a 10 dollar venue fee
If you want a tourney with no venue fee and no pot fee as you seemed to imply, why don’t you show up to the university events?
