You must be excited for the re-release of GG, although they should have made it 2D.5 or updated the visuals somehow. I do love watching the game especially when chip is involved. Eddy just seems extremely overpowered, like he makes dark phoenix look mid tier by comparison.

My live subscription just ran out. Was schooling fools in 3SO before that. They need to hurry and release SFXT on live so I can download and play it since my laser reader is broken on my garbagebox-I mean xbox.

It’s better then nothing and I think it would just be me anyways lol. Most everyone in sask goes to dusins place and a few goto another guys place for BB and MVC3 I think. I don’t goto dustins place due to political reasons and I’m not really a fan of BB or MVC3 so the other venue isn’t my style.

Super late to this post but I wanted to mention that since SFxT’s a major tournament, they already have prizes for it so if so much as two people enter it, they’ll hand out prizes to 1st place and runner up. They’ve done it in the past because they have no use for the prizes.
What tournament are you referring to just to be clear?

Also FYI, in regina the scene there are organizing a tournament at the end of april. I’m heading out there I think but I’m not to sure who else from sask is going. Things have become active again ever since SFXT came out so if you wanna get back to games now is a good time.
shit I WISH we played BB when I host, no one else in the city plays the game. When GG comes out on PSN I should make it so you can’t come into my apartment unless you play it lol.
Would be nice. I am actually interested in SFXT. The only problem as I mentioned is that my laser reader on my 360 crapped out. It can only play games directly from the hard drive. I like to say I would be willing to try GG but that game is way to advance…I’ll just stick to basic SF concepts ha.
I have a spare 360 downstairs I’m not using, if you want to borrow it you can. It’s the older model and I transferred the hard drive to my new but it stills work good and you can at least get in some time to train and learn the basics of SFXT until they release it on live.
Edit: Not to mention we can do our old 3s sets again haha, but man I’m rusty these days.
nah we play a lot of mvc3 and about half of us play melty. We play a variety of other stuff. It’s a moot point right now, I won’t be hosting until next september, thanks to finals.
Ah yeah I gotcha, well I do appreciate diversity but I think dustin is kind of like me in that he’s more capcom orientated. Hopefully more people locally will be open to hosting, or maybe we will luck out and get a game room at the U of S ha.
