So does fei, even in AE and in super he had to work for a lot of his victories.
In this aspect I do think SFXT has worst top tiers then SF4. I think the top tiers in SF4 do have to work towards their victories even as it concerns seth and viper. SFXT does seem to have really auto-pilot top tiers, especially with rufus, vega and rolento.
I’m pretty sure O.sagat referred to championship edition sagat…history my friends:)
I’ll explain why law is the dan of SFXT:
Movement: Dan has better mobility then law. He can alter the trajectory of his jump and his QCB+K is a better spacing/footsie tool then anything law has in his arsenal. They both walk at about the same speed but law does have a faster dash.
AAs: Dan has a better AA game then law. While they both have no AA normals dan does have a far better DP that can also combo into a full ultra. In fairness to law he does have a higher juggle potential off his DP but considering how ineffective it is to land reliably its basically almost like not even having a DP to begin with.
Normals: Both have bad footsies since their normals all have short range and lose out quite often. However law has better normals at close range and he has far better special normals…so I suppose law does have better normals.
Pressure: Both have safe specials and can pressure decently, the only difference is that dan has the potential of a psychic DP to avert opponents from pressing buttons.
Damage: Law has this won handily but they both need to be close to get any damage in. They are both incapable of getting any real damage outside just close quarters so basically their damage output amounts to the same thing.
Overall they both have poor mobility options, bad spacing options and outside a impressive damage display from law they both just plain suck.
I always loved CE bison ha, he was so ridiculous that it became entertaining to see his mixup crossup crusher just hit people randomly. Although I think he had long charge times so I guess he had some restriction. My favorite braindead top tier has to be shin akuma in svc…infinite supers were amazing ha.
IMO cvs2 sagat is way worse then nak ever was in CVS1…besides the characters were generally weak in that game so I think she got a pass on it.
Sim can play multiple styles in SF2 which is insane for a character who is suppose to space. He can rushdown, runaway, or zone and destroys 97% of the cast…as much as I hate O.Sagat I hate sim with a passion.
I think honda had a similar code where you can get a different version of him to, or maybe it was chun I forget which one but I remember it was more then just sagat who had a different version.
For real though what real difference did ryu and ken have in hyper outside knee bash, their haduken,SRK and tatsu are all the same and so are the normals. Super and turbo was when ryu and ken became really different.
