I doubt mago has changed his mind, I spoke with him recently and he told me he personally finds all those matches bad for fei so basically my opinion isnt really mine but what he told me.
He never told you that recently. 2010 is not recent. Since AE 2012 has dropped both Mago and Fuudo consider Fei to be one of the best with no significant bad matches. Guile may not even be considered bad anymore.
Not only that but Mago considered “bad matches” for Fei to be his even matches.
The funny thing is that maybe it was diffrent in Japan but for AE i straight up asked Di3minion and he Said that Fei beat Guile 6-4 in Ae, am sure that changed in 2012 though.
Maybe he wasint as good but he seems like a reliable source. one of the best guiles in North americia at least.

Well it’s quite possible that match has changed since 2010. All I see of Guile vs Fei now is Fuudo stomping Guile’s, so it may no longer be Guile’s favor.

Graham must have leveled up a lot since being in Japan. I’m still salty he beat me in the 5v5…that damn armor on the EX dash punch royally fucked me over. To this day I don’t get why in all or fei’s incarnations he never got armor on EX armor:(
Yeah Jamie I went to Japan during the time I was banned from srk hence why I didn’t hype it up. I met up with ruu again after all these years and he was like"bro long time no see". Good thing I mastered the Japanese language years ago when I used to import RPGs from there;)
