regina people get together and play. not our fault saskatoon people are fucked.
Its just bad circumstances with the main one being a venue. Like I said from the very start, if we just had some place to gather we could get organized and eventually build something serious. Once you get a large,consistent and reliable venue everything else comes together. Although as it stands regina is light years ahead, I can’t even recall the last time any of the sask guys met in person for some games.
Winnipeg > Regina > Saskatoon

Any advice on learning Fei Evo?
We all know how I feel about "those"kind of gatherings…I kid :clown:
Strengthen you’re fundalmentals and remember that Fei excels when played defensively. Fei has the ability to punish from mid-screen away on any whiffed normal/special on reaction. keeping this in mind you should never really ever feel the need to move forward or press the action. Instead, you’re goal should be to let you’re opponent come to you and react according to whatever they attack you with. With that said there is 1 point I wish to stress to you because a lot of Fei players make this mistake…don’t spam his specials and in paritcular his CW.
You can probably get away with CW spam on lesser opponents but it won’t work the higher you get up. As a example I can honestly say that for the longest time I thought Abel was free because I would dominate pretty much every able fight with that 1 move. However when i fought against Rico’s abel I saw just how unsafe that move really is, so understand now that while a tunel vision strategy isn’t good with any character it’s espeically the case with Fei.

Hey steve Ill try to make it out to this tourny, I gotta collect my 1st place HDR prize money:)
Alright since nothing will ever get done lets just make it simple and throw a tournament together at the education building. Lets call it"God Of Sask"or some shit like that, entry fee 20$ and the prize money will be split between 1st/2nd/3rd. We can bring our own setups and do it over the weekend sometime, Ill even throw in a extra 50$ to anyone who can beat me FT10:wgrin:
