lol I wish I could, and I know James but we’ll see what happens. I’m just at a point right now where the incentive to play is no longer there and im just not happy anymore. I only played SF4 because it was a popular choice and because the toon town fights community (as well as something else more important to me) was picking up and developing. This time last year I had everything going for me, but this year nothing turned out the way I wanted and in the process of losing so much I just got tired and stopped caring.
Additionally my heart was never really into SF4 like it was for games like HDR or 3s. Not to mention it just got very frustrating after awhile to go into every other provincial thread and read about the "unity"and and “community” they have going, I would read about the tournies and gatherings they have runnning, and it just made me realize that Sask would never have anything like that even inspite of all the efforts I put forth to make it happen. It’s a pretty sad commentary on a scene when the only reason you get any attention is because of drama, and outside learning about all the explicit details of me and glow’s relationship I don’t think anyone really cared at all about sask’s community.The terrible showing at CC didn’t help either and I also never seem to see anyone online anymore lol.
The situation at toon town fights unfortunately doesn’t inspire much faith either,so in the end Im left with no scene,no consistent online competition, no local players,no community and a game I never cared that much about…my hands are tied:sad:
You just have to play for you man. Forget the rest of the scene locally if it’s just not an option. Hookup with some players online and get in on their weekly battles.
I’ll be taking a break after Evo online as well. Sometimes you just gotta get real life stuff done. Games are fun and it’s nice to be good at them, but they’re just games. Don’t rack yourself up too badly over it.
I’m taking time off to work on my portfolio. I’m sure you have your reason’s as well. Give me a shout we’ll chat
Yeah man thats the damn truth, and yeah I keep my cell with me at all times so I’ll drop you a line soon. After our set and evo online things will be different for awhile, but its going to be a change in the right direction:lovin:

Well Ill be playing 2morro at 3pm 2morro for the evo tourny, and I wont lie when 3s comes on XBL I’ll be over all that:) Im sure the AE will get my blood rushing again, but for right now my soul has no spark.

The year is almost over anyways so I expected things to drop quite a bit, and to be perfectly frank there really isn’t anything to post about anymore:shake: Not to mention I gotta make a new thread anyways…out with the old and in with the new as they say. Although I’ll still remember all the good times this thread brought me, so many wonderful memories:wgrin:
Speaking of memories, I gotta say in review of this year I only have 1 word…AWESOME!!!. I got to meet so many top players and got a better sense of the community, more importantly though I really improved my game and proved that I could back up my so called"arrogance". Overall a lot of positive experiences happen this year and im very proud of myself, but of course like with everything in life you have you’re ups and you have you’re downs.
The unfortunate “downs” this year for me was HTA and my terrible run at CC. It’s still such a shame that Sask doesn’t have a scene after all these years but it is what it is I guess. I know we’ll all be sticking around playing anyways with or without a scene, its just for fun afterall. Anyhow when all is said and done I got no regrets about this year, it wasn’t perfect but it was enjoyable. Let’s see what the new year brings us so have a great time dudes…oh and you fuckers better get ready cause Fei-Long is top tier in AE:lovin:
