Sup Embrio, Good luck against Mago. Don’t give him any free hits, make him struggle to hit you. Maybe try fighting him listening to classical music. (Chopin dark piano solos is what I listen to). It worked awesome against Starnab and you play very smooth and relaxed listening to it. Unless you got iron nerves and that shit doesn’t effect you then don’t bother. Worth trying out though. Remember the few tips I gave you, and the importance of cr.short to cr.jab - rekka, your safe on block. You felt strong in the few laggy rounds we had so I have faith you can win. The Japanese are very patient and don’t mind waiting the clock down. Again, DON’T GIVE HIM FREE HITS, attack mostly when he’s in range, if not he’ll punish the whiff. The fei that plays slower is the fei that usually wins IMO. Anyway good luck again, wish I was there to fight you and see you fight him. I’ll try to watch when I can sneak away at work. CANADA RULES!!!
Thanks buddy, you taught me a lot of good details about Fei that I didn’t know beforehand so I will take these lessons into my fight with Mago. My brother also recieved that chart you sent him and your right it’s amazing, I printed it out and put it next to my TV. I’ll also be sure to rep you to Mago, he will know to watch out for you after I fight him lol. I’ll also be sure to look into that controller as well, I’ll call you as soon as I get it in…sadly it wont be in time for the tourny lol. Anyhow man I’ll catch you online again soon and I certainly look forward to seeing you at evo next year…its gonna be insane with you,starnab,mago and myself all at the same place at once lol.
Oh by the way see if you can talk to sabin for me, I really need that sim practice lol.
The pad I use is Buy Fighting Commander 3 - Black (Hori) for PS3 (import) & other Import Video games at RenChi.com. There are some modds again you will have to make but if you compete in Street Fighter it is THE BEST PAD IN THE WORLD. No more whiffed ultras, best D-pad, and very responsive triggers for easier plinking. Call me when you get it and I’ll walk you through it. As I told you before there was only one person I knew of in America that could dual mod it and swap two buttons which you’ll need to do. So call me before you get it and maybe me getting it modded for you then sending it to you would be the best way.
Also I was serious with the classical music. You might be surprised at how well you play listening to the right kind of slow relaxing piano music. Try it sometime, it’s won me tournaments, I use the Bose Quiet Comfort Plus 15 headphones, they block out all backround noise and really get you focused on the match. The only downside is they also block out the noise from the tv, so some matches (like Zangief) you want to hear the lariat and wouldn’t wear them.
That controller looks amazing and I could certainly use it for my tournament season next year. Its unfortunate that I didn’t know about this controller a bit sooner because I’ll be heading into CC with a converter that feels very stiff so I will be slightly compromised. I feel im at a point wih my skill that the only true "wall"I’ll have against opponents is my execution so I will for sure be getting that fight pad. Speaking of which, should I just pay pall you the the amount so that you can do all the mods Ill cover whatever expences.
I’ve also never used music while playing but I suppose I could give it a shot, Ill be tense enough as it is at CC especially against Mago so it could help. Although I am very confident heading into this event, I feel like I’ve improved greatly ever since hearing about this tourny. I’ve been trying my best to average at least a hour day in terms of training and I’ve been fighting a lot of great talent online. I only wish I had some local guys to train with offline, but Im sure ill make the adjustment when I get to CC.
Well CC is only a few days away and this is easily the biggest tournament I’ve ever gone to. Whatever the outcome, I’m pleased with my progress and the networking I’ve managed in these last few weeks. I’ll also be sure to rep sask as best as I can and I also want to wish the best to all the other Sask players. I know most of us have been training hard for the event and I’m sure it will pay off:)

Edit: I will host a open lobby for any Sask players attending CC 2morro, anyone can join of course but I would like to do 1 last set of round robins. I also would like to tier list on the Sask players and get some imput from the community, a lot of other provinces are very organized and clear on how there players fall into things so I think it would be neat if we could do the samething. Its a bit difficult to structure this since we don’t have a active community but I think we can still get a basic idea of things.
i’ll join teh lobby. training with you has improved my bison quite a bit. id like to get some more games in.

Its gonna be crazy intense 2morro, I’ve never fought anyone as good as Mago in person so I hope I can do good. I already finished packing and got all the cash I need so now its just a matter of waiting. I believe I’ll be at Calgary around 4pm so I’ll see you guys soon:)
