Holy shit SR was incredible, the top 8 was easily the best top 8 I’ve seen from any tourny this year. Watching these top players fight is making me wonder how the hell any of us will hope to do anything at CC lol.
I concur, that top 8 was insane. Stayed up till 1am, got up at 7 lol.
Tokido stole the show though heh, but you know Vangief really impressed the hell out of my…his footsies are just on another level.
Okay guys update on the salty suite:
I can book off a business class room for $420 a night and if we want we can pre-order food and drinks (I have a menu from the hotel). I will have to charge $10-15 entrance fees to help cover costs but I’m wondering if there’s anyone here who would help me cover the costs of this room. I can’t really justify spending $840 on this or I’ll have to limit it to one night or scrap it altogether because I can’t justify that kind of cost. Please let me know as soon as possible because I have a limited time to book this room.
i agree, vangief has some of the best footsies i’ve seen, i wish he would have made it further. always a pleasure to watch him play
Yeah I was inspired by his Footsies. The next morning I hit xbox live with a vengance. I’m really trying to use dash more. I also like how he throws out the st.lk after a light Banishing fist. It just gives you that little bit of extra reach and if the get nailed by it you can score an EX Banishing fist or start a combo. Brilliant!
I’ve also been practicing my footsies and I shut down a good Feilong player named ShinoStar who is usually a pain in my ass. I’m really starting to see why good footsies help you control space and more so, the game.
Yeah he is pretty good, I think he plays a mean ken as well. Im really excited to fight you again man, ive been using Dan a lot to help my footsies/zoning game and so far the results are more then satisfying:)
Killey: How much do you need with the room, I want this suite for sure?
I think I have enough donations to cover the first night and maybe the entrance fees will cover some of the second night but any amount would help. Any extra from the entrance fees will be split among the people who donated.
