Well I don’t know who these other players are but I work on both those days at those exact hours. Although I can compromise and make the wednesday battle but thurs for sure is just out of the question.

This is funny that I just find out about this all last night and my name has been thrown around the thread for a couple days now lol. I didn’t know anythign about these exhibition matches or ppl wanting to rep their province. I’m not even registered for the tournament yet.
In all honesty if someone is needed to rep sask it should be Ric. We don’t need to have any playoff or anything. I’ll be in his corner rooting for him.
Also to all the trollers and drama: The organizers have enough work to take care of, don’t make their jobs any harder. This has become a MAJOR tournament with worldwide attention. Lets all act a little more mature here. :tup:
I dont want any Saskatoon players to think that Im not giving them a fair shot but in all honesty I already have the stats and reputation to prove why I should be the one to rep Saskatoon. It would be a lot easiar if these mystery players could come forth and let there names be known…I should also add that the suggest time slot for these"right to rep sask"tournie come into huge conflict with my work schedule as I always work evenings.

Hey Rik, what’s up? We haven’t played in a while (my fault). I’m wondering what you’re up to Thursday or Friday morning/afternoon. we should have a few games if you can.
I’ve been cross training with Ryu and I find that it’s really helping my sense of space and I’m getting WAY better at throwing and teching throws. Playing as Zangief you don’t really have to worry about that too much. My Ryu isn’t as good as my Zangief, but just having played SF for soo long with Gief has really helped my hold my ground against better players with Ryu. I’ve beat some 10K BP Ryus and Some 15K BP Zangeifs. You should see the angry messages I get regarding my 3K Ryu

Hey man great to hear from you again, yeah Im down on both those days for sure man and good stuff with the ryu training. I used ryu as my main in 3s and it helped me build a lot of good points in spacing and zoning. I’ve also been doing massive training these last few months between fighting ross,wong,air and just a lot of other really good high level people. Last night though I had SF overkill lol, I thought against so many good high level Canadian players and then had to do a set against the Sask guys and by the end of it all I was just mentally drained. Later on in the night I had a set against Gootecks and it went very well, I was tired as hell but it was a very fun set. Oh and lets do a gouken vs ryu set, Ive been practicing my Gouken so this will be the perfect test.
Sask Community: I finished the "right to rep"contest last night and Im happy to report that I will be the one representing Saskacthewan at CC. GG’s to nate and dustin last night and if you guys want anymore games anytime soon just let me know. On that note if we ever do have another"set"for whatever reason I recommend we just do it in person lol. Now that that whole situation and a lot of other things are dealt with I feel the Sask community can finally breath easy again, Ill be doing more rooms with Sask guys and Ill see ya guys there at CC.

Edit: Ya know Ive been playing a lot of high level competiton recently and it has exposed a lot of flaws I have in my style that i didnt really realize beforehand. In my set with air,wong and ross I found that whenever I had the lead I had this nasty habbit of always moving forward to get more damage…I never just sat on me lead. Likewise when I was down on health as opposed to just waiting for them to move forward I would press the action and try to even it out. Those 2 basic faults always lead to me losing the round and eventually the match…I gotta fix those in time for CC.
