Sanwa JLF's vs LS-32/40

It’s the short engage distance (4mm). Kind of a double-edged sword; you move the stick less, so your reactions are made quicker, movements are smaller, but it does require you to be more precise.

Not sure if this information is in any other thread, but does anyone know what size E Clip the JLF uses and what size E Clip will fit onto the shaft of an LS-32?

I want to buy spares in case I break them and the C ring is a bit difficult for me to put back on.

EDIT: There might be questions as to why don’t I just take the measurements myself. The reason for that being is that every hardware and hobby store does not have them in stock, where I live. So, I’ll need to purchase it online and that’s why I want to get the correct “official” measurement/size.

Here’s info on the LS-32. I definitely recommend replacing it with an E clip. The initial removal of the C (without the proper tool) is what sucks.

Thanks for the info. Now all I need is the E clip size for the JLF and then my life will be complete. Well almost.

Btw, with C-ring removal tools, is it easiest to just use long needle nose pliers? The ones you get from the hobby store.

I wouldn’t buy tools for it. Get two pieces of wire, loop them through the clip and pull like hell. It takes a little elbow grease but it beats paying for something you’ll use once.

I love the ls33, it’s smooth as hell. It doesn’t have a pivot, so it just glides through any motion. It’s like having a brand knew well greased JLF, which is my second favorite. The JLF is great, but needs greasing after a while because it starts to feel like it’s stuck in putty. For those who haven’t greased the pivot in their JLF, LOL. Do it and it’ll be great again. Because the ls 33 is so damn smooth, it will feel a bit lose, so I recommend adding an ls 56 spring in a addition to the stock, and you’ll get pure heaven.
