I like the look of the transparent layer over the opaque insides. I hope they make balltops like this as well.

I don’t think it’s been explicitly stated. But the clear Sanwa OBSCs can be mixed and matched into the regular/opaque OBSFs.
Wish they they would make these in screw in type also.
Wanted to wait till official release but became impatient and went ahead and bought some. Also no pics of clear + solid grey so ill provide
I also tried the LED KNsert and but decided it was better off without.
do the KNserts fit natively in the Clear Sanwa or do you have to shave them at all?

Created an account to inquire about this. I just purchased a set of 8 sanwa buttons from arcade shock (4 clear blue and 4 black with a clear ring) and there’s an oddity in the length of the plunger on the blue buttons. The black/clear are identical to the other sanwa button I have, but the clear blue have a longer plunger and the edges of the plunger are less rounded. Anyone else have the clear buttons or know why there is a difference? I was afraid that I was sent some seimitsu buttons by mistake, but I verified that they’re all branded as sanwa. Here’s a shot I took to show the difference:

Hello Tech Talk, haven’t posted here in a while. Can’t remember right now, but does anyone remember if Arceye 2.0s will fit in Sanwas? If so, I might have to snag some of these for my next stick even if they are $5.00 per button, lol!
I pretty sure the ArcEyes do not fit but KNserts will do the job.
Well the clear plunger has like 3 layers the top cap, the white cap that prevents the top cap from rotating and the actual plunger. I would assume thats why there might be a difference in length but if anything it should feel almost exactly the same at the OG solid sanwas
Hmm, I’m definitely not liking the feel combined with the shorter sanwas on the same controller. They feel more like the stock madcatz buttons that came with the TvC stick. Think I might get some half-clear on this one and put the clear blue in one of my other sticks to match the stock buttons.

If you look very carefully at the balltops in the background…do you see metallic balltops?!
The ones in that plastic case are prototypes for show only; not for sale.
